I had a seizure and he was the doctor who took care of me. He was very thorough in his explanations and he did a good job. You can tell he genuinely cares in the well being of his patients.

I’m we just had an almost exact experience with this “doctor”. I had to dispatch 911 to my house and drive 2 hrs to get to my husband. When I got there I was asking Dr. Chen basic questions which he refused/was unable to answer. I asked to speak with someone else and we were just left alone for hours. When we paged the nurse for an update they told us there was no one else to speak to. Dr Chen came in and shamed me- said I was “inappropriate and rude” and that he would leave if I kept it up. I never did anything other than ask questions and ask to speak to someone who could answer them since he refused. He had an attitude with me from the instant he walked in. We didn’t receive adequate care for my husband and still have little to no answers about his health. I will be making a formal complaint. He clearly has an issue with women.

My husband was asked by our dentist to go to the ER after fainting while receiving novocaine at the dentist. (yeah, I know) Dr. Chen was condescending and ill-informed. He repeatedly insisted that my husband could not drive for 6 months because of this fainting episode. Though all tests came back negative (yeah - he fainted from the needle) Dr. Chen said he wanted my husband to stay overnight. When my husband questioned that, Dr. Chen did not explain any reason why and treated us like we were rude for asking questions. When I asked if my husband did stay overnight if he then could be cleared to drive, Dr. Chen said aloud as he made a note, something like, "Wife is belligerent and questions medical judgment". In the end, my husband refused to be admitted & followed up next day with our family doc. Surprise - there was no law against him driving for fainting at the dentist. Bogus. The rudest doctor I have ever encountered.
