Omar Ali's Online Review Report Card

He did my mitro valve clips at Mid Michigan Hospital in Midland. This guy is GREAT. ! He cares about his patient and he explains everything. Id have him help me again! Thank you Dr.Ali !

I am so glad Dr. Omar Ali, MD was available when my Hubby had a heart attack. He is a very patient, knowledgeable, & helpful with our concerns & questions. I would recommend him too family & friends.

This man believes in cardiac interventional procedures without conscious sedation or, at the very least, having his patient feel relaxed, comfortable and PAIN FREE during such procedure. Ali was assigned to perform my heart catheterization. As soon as I got in the procedure room and was moved onto the table, I told the nurses and assistants that I did not want to suffer in pain and requested conscious sedation or at least something to relax me. Within minutes, Ali appeared and rubbed a little lidocaine on my groin and began ramming the catheter inside my arteries, through my body and into my heart which has a valve inside a valve inside valve with metal cages. Multiple times, I screamed and cried out in pain, begging for him to stop. He would just say "calm down and that it didn't hurt." He just proceeded to ask the assistants for different size catheters and rammed each of those into my unmedicated body. This went on for 2 hours and 10 minutes when Ali finally said "Okay, lets quit. We've put this young lady through enough." It was 2 hours and 10 minutes of the worst horrifying and painful hellish experience of my life! I will never recommend him to anybody nor will I ever allow him to play any sort of role in any of my cardiac care.

He is very incompetent to put it mildly. Find out yourself if you dare. My Opinion

I have been unfortunate enough to have two serious heart issues and on both occasions Dr Ali has been able to provide excellent top quality care. Dr Ali takes the time to explain fully what the issues are and how he plans to treat them, with detailed follow up information after surgery. It is important to note that the staff both in the surgical suite and on the ward all speak highly of him and relate anecdotes of how he takes time to answer their questions, use diagrams and videos to fully explain things to them. My first incident required me to quickly find a cardiologist and rely upon a referral, however on the second incident I made sure to request Dr Ali again. It's also worth pointing out that Dr Ali has an excellent dry sense of humor which helps destress what could be quite tense times. Highly recommended.

God is working with his hands to help save lives. I stopped breathing and was out for a week knowing nothing with a terminal illness and he worked an entire night and day to save my life, and I thank God I am here to share this with you. I thank God for letting him find me and for blessing him with the ability to share the gifts that God gave to him to help others. May God be with Mr. Ali forever so that he can allow him to bless others. Thank you Dr. Ali.

I have seen Dr. Ali for several years. I feel very confident with him...he takes time with you-explains things well. I see him yearly, but had a problem recently, and his office got me in immediately. His staff is very nice & courteous. I would highly recomend him.

I would recommend Dr Ali to my family and friends. He takes his time answers all questions. You are in and out a timely manner.
