In July 2014 Dr. Dhar diagnosed my husband with bronchitis after I brought him in to the hospital coughing up large amounts of blood. In actuallity he had a pulmonary embolism and tissue death in his lung. The only reason the PE was found was because I found a young resident and yelled until he did a CT scan. 10 minutes after the scan they came running in with apologies and new meds. I knew something was very wrong and my persistance saved my husband. Doctors are so used to everyone just blindly taking anything they say as absolute truth. Never hesitate to request a second opinion or to demand more testing. If you ever come across Dr. Satyendra Dhar run the other way! He is so full of himself and has such a big ego that he refuses to even listen to his patients concerns. This man could have been responsible for the death of my husband because he was so sure of the diagnosis he made that he refused to test for anything else.
