List of Clinton Counseling Center's Reviews
This place is really unique in the heart of Mount Clemens. They have good doctors to help you. Doctors really care a lot about their patients and they really help you out Through whatever you’re going through in life, they definitely will take care of you. I recommend them.
I normally wouldn't have written a review but it was comical to read some of the reviews here and felt like I should leave a comment as well. If you spend any amount of time attending group or individual therapy at Clinton Counseling Center, you will quickly find out that this place seems to be the only and last hope for people that have hit rock bottom in life, whether it is with chronic unemployment, broken relationships, abandonment from loved ones, homelessness relying on the generosity of Macomb County funding and the staff here will go above and beyond to act like the middle person to get you the resources you need, advocate for you, communicate with probation officers or psychiatrists or aiming to connect you with a primary care physician or anything to help you through your journey to recovery. If the client makes an effort, you will find good support from the team at Clinton Counseling Center which is honestly a very bare bones operation but a very critical and needed service that isn't drawing in money like most other larger organizations are. Take advantage of this gem if you need it and don't be swayed by those that have had "bad" experiences that often was not caused nor exacerbated by anyone at the counseling center.
Truly, the best kept secret of Macomb County! I am amazed at the level of kindness and care offered by every single person you'd interact with here. They are genuinely empathetic and will figure out any way possible to support you in receiving the funding you need for housing, transportation, medical and psychiatric care that the government already has allocated. Clinton Counseling is under the banner of Comprehensive Youth Services that supports children, teenagers, young adults and older in providing counseling, therapy and life skills in life to thrive and overcome every challenge that they've experienced in the past!
This place "seems" nice at first, They lured me in, I told the truth about me. They gave me pills I almost died off of them they tried to tell me it was the marijuana I continuously smoke still. Lhh. Everything that I said to these people and I wanted to do for myself and making things up and not CLEARLY UNDERSTANDING ME, PLUS putting me in circles you're not helping humans in any manner besides taking data in what they know. These type of humans are not right. I recommend anybody to stop going there. Please!
I attended classes here in 2019 once a week when I was early in recovery. They are very kind and were not judgmental about my situation. They were also very supportive of evidence based treatment, when a lot of other places I went to had stigmatic points of views on my way of recovering for SUD. I can’t remember who ran the cognitive behavioral classes before covid but she was really cool. Thank you for being a stepping stone in my journey.
I walked in after the thirty minute ride from Warren. Looking forward to seeing a therapist again. I went up and down the stairs trying bathroom doors because I had to use the restroom. I went to look for a front seat to obtain the key and there was none. So I made my way back down to the lower level, my hip and planter fasciitis both killing me and processed to the Clinton Counseling Center desk where the lady at the service desk didn’t anything but help me out. Said I had to go to suite 100 but I responded the door was locked and the therapist was not answering. All I needed was to relieve myself after a long ride and she said I would have to wait. She like me is not a young person so then I marched up the stairs again (third time) so I could piss by the dumpster. You work for a mental health service and could care less that some of us are having anxiety and become overwhelmed. She doesn’t care about mental health she is just looking for a paycheck. Another black eye on the mental health situation in this country. I hope this is worth it because I’m already wanting to leave. #frankfiorello313
I had a substance abuse evaluation done $280 got the report back and it was totally slander for their profit they have not heard the end of this yet
Great staff , excellent service, tons of helpful things to get back on track..
Matt is a great counselor, he's been very helpful in helping me get through some of the hardest times in my life, past and current!! I'm also in IOP program. It's been a very helpful experience for my recovery! And our group is very supportive!
I am struggling to find the words to explain how incompetent this place is, specifically Janet. Please don't make the same mistake I did by going there. You will end up regretting it if you do.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
