Dr. Julie A. Burnham Do's Online Review Report Card

Upon meeting Dr Burnham I understood why my wait to obtain an appointment was so lengthy (3months). Her office staff is very welcoming and efficient offering me immediate ease over the anxiety of visiting a new neurologist. Dr Burnham is empathic, knowledgeable, direct, and patient centered. My entire experience with her and her staff was reassuring and informative.

Dr. Burnham is experienced, attentive and helpful. After 3-4 neurologists, she is sincerely the best I've had. The front staff is just as amazing. They are efficient, helpful and friendly.

Doesn’t seem to care like she used to. She seems to have lost the bedside manner snd willing and eagerness to help.

She's a great doctor. Took a lot of time with me and explained everything very clearly. I totally understands what causes migraines now. My problem is that it's been a week and I still have no medication because what she has prescribed is unaffordable. My insurance charges $75 for a 30 day supply of medication and $20 for a 90 day supply of medication. I have told them that repeatedly but they continue to prescribe 30 day supplies. The medication won't do me any good if I can't afford it. If you have really good prescription coverage she's the doctor you want to see. I don't, however, and so will have to find a different neurologist. A week should be more than enough time to sort through that and find me an affordable medication. I'm so demoralized. And I have a migraine.

I am impressed with Dr. Burnham and her staff. I feel like she carefully listens to my medical concerns and explains treatment options thoroughly. She is very personable and my interaction with her staff whether on the phone or in-person has been very positive and friendly. Sometimes the wait time is a little long, but I believe that’s because she doesn’t rush through her appointments and I know I will be given the same consideration when it’s my turn.

Dr. Burnham is a great doctor. She explained everything to me very clearly and I know a lot about what causes migraines. My health insurance copay is $75 for a 30 day supply of medicine and $20 for a 90 day supply. Over the course of a week I have been prescribed several medications, all at 30 day supplies. I can't afford that. I'm going to have to cancel my follow up appointment with her and find a neurologist who might be willing to prescribe something affordable. I'm quite depressed because I waited 3 months for this appointment and expected her to help me. I've had a migraine on and off for about a month. Now I have to try to find another neurologist or just try to function with migraines.

Dr. Burnham prescribed medication I cannot afford and after a week of phone calls I still do not have affordable medicine. She could be the greatest doctor in the world but if I can't get any medicine to control my migraines and their symptoms because she won't prescribe something affordable she's useless. The appointment was a waste of time and money.

Dr. Burnham saw me for some issues I was having and found my problem quickly. I was so grateful for her seeing me so quickly, and even she was surprised how fast I got in. I was even more surprised when she figured it out that fast, after none of my PCP's could. I can't recommend her enough.

I’m very happy with my choice to see Dr. Burnham. She was compassionate and I felt really listened to my concerns about my health. I found her staff to be friendly, caring, and competent every time I’ve had to contact her office. I have yet to call with an emergency but feel hopeful that I will get the excellent care that I’ve received so far.
