Dr Atwal saved my moms life. We were told there was nothing else that could be done. And they wanted us to take her off of the vent. Luckily my moms pcp knew Dr.Atwal who came and seen her. Came up with a plan. And saved her life. I will always be grateful to Dr. Atwal.

Best trauma surgeon in the world!

I was not one of Dr. Atwal's patients. I met him in the lobby of McLaren Hospital. I was just released from the hospital after having spinal surgery. There was a mistake on my prescription. I approach Dr. Atwal in the lobby, Dr. Atwal took charge and made sure my script was corrected. Later that day he called me at home to see how I was doing and was everything good. If he cares that much about a total stranger just think what he would be like to his own patients. Thank you Dr. Atwal!

A phenomenal Doctor and Surgeon. After my appointment and CAT Scan he contacted me and arranged for me to meet him outside his normal office hours. He scheduled and preformed the surgery the following day on a Saturday. I'm 59 and in my entire life never met a doctor that cares more about his patients and that I trust as much as him. Thanks Sir for Everything.

This guy is awful! Kept my mom in surgery for 7 hours. After 7 hours, he claimed to have cured the problem. Problem was most definitely not fixed. Consult with a real surgeon from U of M, surgery was repeated and problem was solved in 15 minutes. Run, don't walk away from this man.
