Giving this 5 stars so others see it: My mom went here for help and she is more traumatized than before. She has never harmed herself in her 50 years of living but came back with bite marks and scratches. This place needs to be shut down immediately. I will work on pursuing this action myself.

Don’t send your kids here if you can help it. I had an involuntary stay here when I was 13 around 2018-2019 because there were no beds anywhere else. The so called group therapist “eva” was cruel she told me and one other patient that our “suicide attempts were for attention and we didn’t actually want to die”. She kept me there longer than I should have been because I “didn’t participate in group enough” geez I wonder why. They drugged us up instead of using a more affective approach to actually help their patients. Eva also constantly misgendered a transgender patient in our unit as well when she was fully aware they didn’t identify as a female it was very purposeful. Whether you personally agree with it or not doesn’t matter you should still respect them especially in a mental health crisis and environment in which you’re meant to be the medical professional! Key word there folks. Way to help their mental health when they were already struggling thus why they were there! The food might has well have been jail food I lost so much weight and only 2 staff members actually seemed to care about the kids and treated us with kindness and compassion not as a burden even though they chose to work with patients like us. Don’t get a job as a healthcare worker or with children/mentally ill people ect. If you don’t have the patience and care to actually treat them like human beings in your care and you’re in it just for the money. Coming from a patient who is now going to school to become an RN BTW because Im actually compassionate about HELPING people. Im not the only one with this experience either. 99% of people who come out of this place only learn not to end up back there if they do whatever caused them to get sent there in the first place again. For some people this could mean succeeding at a suicide attempt the next time. DO BETTER or else someone needs to shut this place down.
Please check your kitchens, I have a friend that was admitted in the past and was diagnosed with h-pylori after leaving the hospital, she had severe symptoms of diarrhea and nausea, and unbearable stomach pain. She was tested for H-pylori and it was positive, She has to take several antibiotics for 2 months . She has been admitted again at Harbor Oaks and is suffering from stomach pains after eating the food, also found hair in the food. These patients rely solely on what is served and don’t have a choice but to eat in this facility. Please check and make sure the food that is served is safe for consumption they deserve to eat healthy clean food. Please consider my request thank you
First time coming into this building - first impressions it’s very clean , good ac , nice staff here . Looking foward to learning more about this facility.
This place was a mess. The staff were mean. Theyre was a select few that i didnt mind. I asked staff abt a bus to take me home they said i had to purchase a ticket thank god one of the only level headed ones already bought me them. The food was horrible it something a dog would eat. You ask them for a snack at snack time and they wont give it to you. Everything was one big joke to get your insurance.
went to the pediatric unit there october of 2024 at 17 due to a suicide attempt, was forced to stay on the boys ward because there was no room on the girls side meaning I had to go to bed later than everyone to avoid being seen by them (still was) and get up earlier. The staff for the most part was fine. there was multiple attacks and very little done to prevent them but placing the victim in seclusion. We hardly did anything planned and when I was discharged I was by far worse than when I went in. I wrote a 3 page essay on the trauma I endured there and passed ELA 12 because of it though so I guess a wins a win. I'm leaving a lot out for the sake of length but tldr DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET BETTER, YOU WONT.
Caring staff and great program offerings. Highly recommend

New Edit , would love to communicate with anyone in authority at this hospital , seems that there is no management present ****************Edit*******.new edit****** They say they are so concerned and to contact them , well I have been trying for 3 days , their internal phone system for patients doesn't work either. It is extremely unprofessional for a doctor to call a mentally sick patient derogatory names Extremely unprofessional people running this place that have no sense of compassion or understanding of proper communication. They really get less than 1 star . They need to do better . Their patients to not have any adequate phone system to call out with out getting immediately cut off . How do you expect your patients/clients to get better with this kind of lack of communication .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
