List of Kevin Drew Md's Reviews
Dr Drew seems like a nice guy, and probably a decent Doctor, but his practice and staff are reprehensible. After waiting for over an hour for my appointment, while in excruciating pain, they started letting other clients with apts scheduled after me in before me because those clients went up and complained, so the office gave them my place in line and moved me back. I approached the receptionist and the receptionist basically acted like they had no clue what was going on and was more interested in playing Candy Crush, I told them I could no longer take the pain sitting there and would need to go home to lay down. They didn't offer me to lay down there or even slightly try to accommodate my pain or apologize for anything. When I tried to call the office manager to explain what happened to try to help them correct their service issues, I was told I was lying and that even though the manager was not there and did not witness, which she also said, she said the "paperwork" and "entries into the computer" proved what she was saying. The manager, Shannon, also was more worried about my temper after she called me a liar, than she was worried about how the practice was running, listening to client feedback, or trying to resolve any issues. She would interrupt me mid sentence to talk over me, instead of letting me finish, then when I would slightly raise my voice to try to continue talking through her constant interruptions she would start shouting "stop yelling at me!" How do they expect to resolve anything if they cannot even let their clients finish speaking and then act so unprofessionally? This is the only doctors office I have been to that seems like they are against masks. Get a referral elsewhere, until the Dr. fixes his staff and services. I've been seeing Dr Drew for 20 years. He's a very good Dr, now for John K. He's gone. He was very rude and always thought someone was in there to just get pills. I like the staff. There is one girl that worked there( but doesn't come to that office anymore)she was rude all the time and she acted like I was taking up her time. I'm glad she doesn't come there anymore. I do think it's crazy that you have to take a drug test every 3 months, expecailly if you've been going there for a long time, but I do understand why. As far as a medical card, Dr Drew has been doing that for a long time. He's a very good Dr and he's funny and friendly, but if anyone thinks they can fool him think again. Keep up the good work everyone I've been seeing Dr Drew for 20 years. He's a very good Dr, now for John K. He's gone. He was very rude and always thought someone was in there to just get pills. He got a phone call from someone on me for nothing I was doing. Believed my sisters story over my own. Has blacklisted me
One of the worst doctor experiences I've ever had. I was in a car accident, and have multiple issues resulting in pain and spasms. Dr. Drew did injections, that didn't help, and then he disappeared. Next, I was still working at the time...I scheduled my appointments for 4pm or later so I could go after work. The day of my appointment I would arrive early only to be told that they moved my appointment up and that I had missed it! Turns out each morning they would call patients and move everyone up earlier in the day so the doctor could leave sooner. So after I was at work, they would call my house and leave a message on my machine with my new appointment time. Never confirmed with me, just changed it with a message. When I explained that I was at work, and they would need to call me there, they got beligerant and rude. I explained I couldn't come earlier in the day, ANY day, because of my job, and would NEVER be able to randomly move my time up. This exact thing happened three appointments in a row. When I'd arrive, Dr. Drew was already on the golf course, and I was left with no visit. Then my insurance company notified me that these idiots were billing them for missed appointments that I DIDN'T MISS, and they were going to refuse payment and make me pay for it. When I explained what the imbeciles in Dr. Drew's office kept doing, they said it was a common tactic for crooked doctors. So I went over to discuss, and explain in smaller words why they can't change my appointment with a message they know I won't hear, and they can't bill me or the insurance for missing said appointment. They clearly do not care and we're just trying to milk my injury for all they could get. Oh.. let's not forget that while all this nonsense was going on, my scripts ran out, and they refused to refill because I missed my appointment that they moved without my consent!!! Long story short...they are either thieves who get all the money they can before you figure out they can't help you, OR they are morons. Wouldn't even give them one star if it wasn't required to post the review. Dr. Drew and his staff are incompetent. Keep searching. One of the worst doctor experiences I've ever had. I’ve seen Dr. Drew for 16 years for degenerative disc disease, stenosis, arthritis and neuropathy. Dr. Drew has helped me tremendously in maintaining a good quality of life. He never hedges when there have been significant changes in the above listed issues. Dr. Drew is very straight forward. He’s always been there for me. Anytime I visit him, I'm treated with genuine acceptance and care from all of his staff. I’m not sure why some of his reviews are very negative. He’s always been compassionate and caring in treating me. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from pain issues.
My wife has a back injury for over 13yrs. She fell in a curb and landed on her tail bone. The bones are now without any cushion between and now they are bone on bone, pinching a nerve that is now a constant, pain that feels like a hot wire down her right thigh. She cries every night. I am really not thrilled with these doctors, but our first visit with Dr.Drew went very well. He is very clear with explaining our problem and options to help us. His office staff was very nice and polite to us, so I don't see how they were rude. Depending on how you act towards people, you'll get that response. My wife has a back injury for over 13yrs. Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
