Rudest office staff I’ve ever encountered. Takes months for simple paperwork to be signed. Very poor patient care.
The majority of my family has chronic underlying autoimmune conditions and will only see Dr. Summers outside of their respective specialists. We have all seen him for over 15 years, and have never been disappointed by his care.
Great doc been going to him for years! Listens to what u say and very pleasant doc! Great staff and very clean office and environment!
Dr. Summers is great. The office is one of the worst doctor’s offices I’ve ever been to. ALWAYS have to wait for AT LEAST an hour. ALWAYS.
Summers was my doctor for over 5 years. My first visit with him turned my life around. He is one of the rare souls in the medical industry who will take all the time he needed to talk to you and get the help you need. The only down side of this is that he takes care of all his prior patents first, so wait times are generally around 30-45 min late to enter your room and then 30+ min to see the doc... Or more. But the respect, quality of listening, and thoroughness of his exams, through his absolute love of taking about a dozen blood tests each visit, make you know that you're not just getting empathic quality care, but also accurate and measured medical intervention just where it's needed. Only go to him if you have good insurance, because the medical tests will bill them big time, but it's worth it.
Great doctor been going to him for many years . Very professional in what he dose and very patient and caring doctor!
Dr Summers is compassionate about health and wellness. He’s a great doctor who puts his patients as a priority.
The doctors at this clinic are very nice, however, the rudeness of the office staff is unacceptable! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, and is totally unorganized to the human eye. No real greeting when you arrive. They act like they don't like their job. If that is the case, find another one. You are not needed in a medical environment where people have issues. When calling in, hold times have been up to 20 minutes - again, unacceptable and rude when someone finally does answer.
Dr.Summers is the best however the front office staff is horrible. They could care less about patients. They refuse to help with anything out of their assigned duty of patient check out. The wait time is never less than 1 hour. If he wasn't such a brilliant doctor, I wouldnt put up with the arrogant attitutes of the front office.
The worst front desk service in this area. I made a appointment month ago but, they canceled and noticed us while we were on the way to the office. I should have read all of the bad review carefully.
Love this office. Dr. Johnstone has correctly diagnosed a few health issues with kindness and sensitivity. The staff is very nice and efficient.
I am a very particular patient. Dr Summers has always listened and helped me to understand whatever was going on medically. No matter if it was related to weight management to too much stress from the job he is always ready to listen. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a very thorough physician.
Excellent Doctor if you get to see him. Its near impossible to get an appointment quickly, and long wait times. Sometimes, i've taken half days off just to get a physical done because you wait over 4 hours just to see the doctor. We use urgent care when we get sick because it's difficult to see the doctor given their wait times.Very hard to get lab results, get forms filled out and signed and get any follow ups. They really need to overhaul their staff.
Everyone has been nothing but helpful and friendly to me. Dr. Summers is the best Doctor I have ever been to. He takes his time and always takes time to ask about my family during my appointment!
Great doctor who listens and cares. I book early appointments and rarely have to wait
Worst office! Long wait times, rude and inefficient staff. My elderly grandmother’s PCP... treated her with total disrespect, even though they know she has Alzheimer’s and has a hard time. Threw away her blood work and other samples after hours of waiting and then trying to obtain them, which was traumatic enough for her. The office is filthy. The doctor doesn’t seem to have a clue about patient history, and the bedside manner is not that pleasant. I wouldn’t take a stray dog here, let alone my family again.
I have been going to this clinic for many many years. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. And trust me I'm not the easiest person to deal with. Dr. Ross Summers is my primary physician, however, I have seen by his partners as well. All have been wonderful. They listen, do not shy away from precautionary testing, which I love, and have not prescribed a lot of medication. The wait time has been reasonable but I always get morning appointments usually before noon.
What a wonderful doctor! When you get seriously ill it is nice to have your family Physician so agreeable to help with testing and treatments. Son with Lyme disease and encephalitis and husband with cancer both go to Dr. Summers and he is such an important part of getting them well. The sometimes long waits in the office are because he really cares about you and listens and does not rush you out.
Dr. Summers is an excellent PCP. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient, taking great care of his patients. I have Dr. summers as my physician for more than 20 years and he keeps me in good health. After my retirement I moved to California. What I lost most in Michigan is Dr. Summers. The internet communication with the clinic is very convenient. Jamie does a great work, and she replied any request promptly. The only shortage of the Northville clinic is the waiting time, which is typically one hour behind your appointment before entering their room, and then you have to wait again before seeing the doctor.
I like the doctor but, there're terrible female staff.
