List of Lakeshore Dermatology Laser & Medical Spa's Reviews
From my experience administrative and billing department have been terrible to work with. They seem to never know what’s going on at any given time I don’t know if it’s a lack of communication, but it shouldn’t be so hard to pay a bill. I will definitely be switching to Trinity Health Labs to avoid the future headaches.
I truly believe that this office's top priority is money. I definitely feel that I am not receiving the care and respect I am deserving of because my insurance is HAP Medicare. The Dr canceled my appointment the 1st week in May and I have as of today, still have not been able to reschedule an appointment due to a "pop up" that I owe them $30, which has been paid and has gone through my checking account weeks ago. I would also like to add that I am more than happy to pay my bill at the time of service, but I have to wait 2 months after my appointment to receive a bill. I then will pay the bill on my next visit as I do not trust sending checks in the mail. This is how I paid the times before as well. I received 3 notices in the mail, to which I called to say I would pay on my next visit. I was turned into a collection agency for $30 and was sent a card that my appointment was canceled because the Dr wouldn't be there that day. I believe it probably cost them more to hire a collection agency than the $30 I owed, and was happy to pay in person on my visit.
The staff and Dr. Van Ittersum made me feel so comfortable and explained everything so I could understand.
Dr. Van Ittersum is the consummate professional! He's treated my entire family for many years. I trust him implicitly.
I thought Bailea was very professional. She answered all of my questions and taught me more about the products and services offered by the medical spa. I'll definitely be returning for more services in the future.
Love the staff and very knowledgeable with my condition
Been a week and 2 phone calls with messages and I have yet to get a call back. So far my experience has been lacking.
The waiting room was pretty crowded but I was called in 5 minutes after my appointment time. The lady that escorted me into the room was very professional & pleasant. Dr Van Ittersum was very attentive and checked all areas of concern. I will go back.
I thought my esthetician was great! She explained all the different types of facials they offer and the benefits of each. I appreciate that she didn’t try to oversell me or talk me into doing procedures that I don’t feel comfortable doing. She did a great job and I can definitely see differences in my skin. I will be back. I highly recommend this medical spa.
I had a great experience at Lakeshore Dermatology Laser and Medical Spa. I was treated like I was someone special and they were very careful to explain all of the treatments available to me, their benefits, and what the recovery time would be. Even though I live way out of town, it is totally worth the drive to go there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
