I have been with Dr. Barad for over 20 years! It breaks my heart to hear some of these negative comments about her because I feel they are just not true! She is the most kindest, caring, and educated doctor I have ever met! She goes that extra mile and works with me on every situation literally! She listens to what I have to say, my concerns and then shares her thoughts, concerns and recommendations for my health and well-being! She has taken care of both of my children as well as my husband! These three people are the most precious beings in my life and I wouldn’t trust them to just anybody! My only negative(no reflection on Dr. Barad) is that the way Ascension is managing their front desk and some of their employees! Because I value her so much, I am trying to look past the office shortcomings!

It’s unfortunate, but I will never be seeing Dr. Barad for any kind of care in the future. I went to her for my annual visit, and throughout my whole visit she was incredibly condescending. I voiced my concerns, and told her I wanted particular labs run. She DISREGARDED everything I said to her related to MY personal health. Not to mention, I felt physical anxiety and tension during my visit with her, due to how she was speaking to me. Now, I have incomplete and inaccurate lab results, and still no answers. No doctor has all the answers. But would you go to a doctor again if they completely ignored your concerns, and treated you with pity and disrespect? I sure wouldn’t. It’s unfortunate doctors like Dr. Barad are so comfortable providing inconsistent and discriminatory care. This is by no means a review of her practice, it is a review of her humility, empathy, and understanding.

Dr. Barad is a super MD. I'm glad I was directed her way. Always ask questions regarding any health issues I may have and listens to what I have concerns with, very thorough. She is always pleasant, so nice.
