List of David Prieskorn. Md's Reviews
Make sure you get a copy of the doctors note immediately when leaving the office to ensure it is exactly what took place during your visit. You may need it later. Walked before going in, could not straighten my leg after coming out.
Excellent physician and support staff. They went out of their way to make me comfortable, and Jeff even gave me a wheelchair assist out to my car after an injection into my knee. A+ care; I am a RN and quite particular about my medical providers. I highly recommend Dr. Prieskorn and his staff!
He did my Rotator cuff surgery. I highly recommend.
While Dr. Prieskorn strives to do his best by his patients we cannot help but feel that my wife has been put through some orthopedic surgical mill where patients are processed with a mechanical attitude in hopes that the outcomes are favorable for the patient. While we understand that the Covid 19 pandemic has given cause for some procedures to be preformed outside of a hospital setting the place chosen by this office, Michigan Outpatient Surgical Solutions, leaves much to be desired. The professional staff maintains a congenial atmosphere conducive to patient comfort, the administrative staff does not do much to ease the patient experience. Today I went to pay our portion of the bill online. The Novi Orthopedic Surgery website was difficult to navigate in order to complete this task. In addition the site did not provide a receipt. It was supposed to send an email but it did not. I called the office during regularly scheduled hours, but it was closed. Very disappointing over all.
I have been seeing Dr. Prieskorn for many years now. It started out as a workman's comp visit for a knee injury at Amazon, which lead to surgery for a meniscus tear. Then I returned on my own for another meniscus tear a year later, and now I am seeing him for a labral tear in my shoulder. I have never had issues getting an appointment, the office staff have always been super friendly, and yes there have been wait times in the office at times, but this is common for any specialty doctor. There were some issues getting my surgery approved and bouncing back and forth with phone calls, I could tell that people were stressed out, but in the end everything worked out. I work in medicine, and its a stressful job. Wait times are inevitable at times, and I have never had issues with Dr. Prieskorn or Jenna listening to my problems and not addressing them.
Very good doctor and surgeon

He will claim your injury is not work related. I wonder how many people he has done this to. Even when the facts are staring him straight in the face. I had 2 surgeons say it was work related and that I needed surgery and he said no. I wonder what the percentage is of W/C cases that he has denied.
I visited Dr. Prieskorn today for a second opinion on some long-standing foot issues I’m having. Everyone from the front desk people to the x ray tech were pleasant and smiling. The doctor took his time with me, listening thoroughly and asking questions where needed. He explained his thoughts and why in a way that was easy for me to understand. I left there satisfied and armed with an action plan for moving forward. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit him again!
David may respect the Payment from you or your insurance company, but he does not respect your time or you. Appointment scheduled 27 days prior. I show up early and complete paperwork before my scheduled appointment time. Made to wait over an hour. That is not an appointment. Compare the specificity of the negative reviews with the vagueness of the positive reviews. This guy only gets OneStars or FiveStars, how odd that not a single person had a Medium experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
