Derek Einhorn's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Einhorn for close to 20 years. My husband, with a very serious heart condition knew him first and, I swear, Dr. Einhorn and his cardiologist kept him alive well beyond any reasonable expectation for his life span. Dr. Einhorn is the perfect combination of many traits. He doesn't overprescribe but he is very careful in his preventative approach to symptoms. He is willing to discuss anything and provides really thorough (and not rushed) explanations for questions or suggestions the patient may have. His manner is sympathetic without being cloying and he addresses any emotional issues that may be underlying physical ones. He has a sweet sense of humor when it is appropriate and is able to give serious news in a measured, intelligent manner. I would like to live with 3 of my sons out west but, frankly, as I get older, one of the reasons that I stay in Michigan is because I trust Dr. Einhorn. That is so rare to find. He has proven trustworthy over time.

He spends the time needed to understand your issues and develop a plan of care. Also has a great bedside manner.

Absolutely the best. My family has been going to Dr. Einhorn for years. Easy to talk to; takes his time with your also. I respect his judgement. His practice is easy to get appointments with also since there are multiple providers available.

Initially visited Dr. Einhorn at the after hours clinic at Beaumont hospital. He was amazing with my 8 week old. He was very personable and it was clear that he loves children. If you are looking for a Dr. who is patient, engaging, kind and knowledgeable I would definitely suggest him.

I agree dr Einhorn is an excellent listener ; he understands what you are communicating and is very patient with you . He cares and he likes to educate his patients. He is conservative with medication ; I really like this because I don't like to take medication unless it's absolutely necessary . Thankfully I haven't been seriously ill; but with my health concerns he has been correct . I have two members of my family seeing him .also . I would recommend him Highly ; he really cares .

I have been looking for a doctor like Dr. Derek Einhorn for years. I live 30 miles from his office yet my wife and I make the drive because of the quality of care we receive. Dr. Einhorn never rushes you. Has great bedside manner. His diagnosis is always spot on. His referrals, if needed, are good. He tells you exactly what you need to hear. He is very helpful in obtaining your prescriptions. He always has time for you and this really puts you at ease in the most stressful situations. I would recommend Dr. Einhorn to anyone.

Easy to get an appointment; knowledgeable; good professional manner.

I was referred to Dr. Einhorn by a Humana agent about 2.5 years ago when my primary physician left the Detroit area. I have found him to be a very good listener and conservative in his approach to problems. I see him quarterly for my diabetes. Have had no major problems as of this date. If he is late it is because he is listening to another patient. Not for the impatient patient. I don't think I could find a better doctor.

I've been going to Doctor Einhorn for about 5 years now. He is the doctor that I have been trying to find for years, I liked him so much that my wife is going to him now also. We drive 30 miles each way for his expertise. He spends all the time that is needed to communicate with you. Never rushes. Never pulls punches. Tells you exactly what you need to hear. He is right on with his diagnosis. Knows which experts to refer you to if needed. Great bedside manner. Puts you at ease. I would strongly recommend Dr. Einhorn.
