They fixed me right up! Dr. Guiboux is awesome.
Dr Guiboux makes you feel very relaxed when he enters the room. I have been a patient of his for more than 7 yrs. He is always very explanatory whether it is for the surgery I needed for Carpal Tunnel or addressing a trigger finger. I have recommended him to many of my acquaintances & they feel the same way. His staff is extremely helpful & always have a smile on their faces.
It was follow-up care for my wrist/hand that I broke early May. Everyone including the doctor were friendly, professional and respectful.
Dr Guiboux was caring and compassionate while also being honest about the patient’s potential outcomes.
The Doctor is kind, appears caring and very professional but is very easy to speak with as well. He listens and makes sure he understands your concerns. He clarifies your symptoms and fully explains what he will do.
I tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Guiboux, but his rude and aggressive office staff said my insurance wasn't in-network. They were wrong - as I confirmed after investigating directly with my insurance and receiving a reference number to share with them - but they insisted that knowing they were guaranteed payment was top priority as opposed to caring for patients. They promised to look into it and call me back but never did. Glad I dodged this bullet! The next doctor that was recommended to me instead was lovely, welcoming, friendly and receptive. I'd rather see a physician who cares about patients and health more than money.
If you are looking for a pompous surgeon who will treat you like a second class citizen, look no further. Our insurance kicks in in two days which they were made aware of earlier in the week. When we arrived today, I was told the cost to see Dr. Guiboux was $500. Mind you, my child has already seen the orthoped, had xrays and is casted. I didn’t yell at a staff member or degrade anyone, but was pretty upset with the cost. When Dr. Guiboux entered the exam room he stated that I lost my temper with his staff (no) and they do not take patients without insurance (yes you do for $500 apparently) and he was seeing my child as a favor to the orthoped, which he continually mentioned. He then progressed into his staff working hard (interesting) and they are short staffed (welcome to reality). Hippocratic Oath much? All of this in front of my teen. He was the RUDEST and most deplorable surgeon I’ve ever met.
If you are looking for a pompous surgeon who will treat you like a second class citizen, look no further than Dr. Guiboux. I see his overall rating is 3.4 for good reason. Our insurance kicks in in two days so he charged us $500 to be seen. I was upset because it wasn’t communicated prior to the appt. I didn’t yell or degrade anyone in the office, but I wasn’t happy. When we got to the exam room he stated that I lost my temper (no) with his staff and how he doesn’t see people without insurance (yes you do for $500), how they are short staffed and my son was a called in favor. All of this in front of my teen son. I had no idea the orthoped called in a favor. He was THE RUDEST surgeon I have ever met. Deplorable and unprofessional. Maybe he’s a great surgeon, but I wouldn’t give him a penny of my money. We are going to be walking billboards to choose ANY other hand surgeon.
I recently was seen by Dr. Guiboux for two different hand problems. One was taken care of in the office and the other in the surgical center. I found Dr Guiboux to be professional and to the point. His office staff as well as the staff in the surgical center were considerate and friendly.
Outstanding doctor and care

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
