Laurence Stawick's Online Review Report Card

To your staff....you turn us down to see the doctor that originally did my girlfriends surgery to put in a stint into the bile duct and told us 6 weeks it needs removed. Tell me to call GI Fellows instead and they tell me 2 months just to see someone that has no clue on the surgery. How appalling to have to see those pictures of Service Excellence as your staff makes fun of me for coming back the third time just to get advice...and then be rude short and snobby with me. I held my composure there but here i will say that was greatly unprofessional and ruthless way to treat people.

Dr. Stawick has been so helpful! Unfortunately I can’t see him currently because my insurance changed (it’s a bad insurance company that my work uses; a LOT of docs don’t take this insurance) but I plan on switching back to him the day my insurance provider changes. Dr. Stawick is a thinker and can figure out unusual/less common issues. I have never had a GI doc figure out/diagnose my particular GI issues before and I’m thankful for his help and expertise!

My son and husband have seen Dr.Stawick. He is VERY thorough and spends time with his patients. Dr.Stawick even provides color photos of procedures. Amazing specialist...

Best Gastroenterologist in town! If you have an autoimmune disease, he specializes in treating patient with it.

I waited for 60 days to get an appointment with him. He did not even bother to press my abdomen to find out what is wrong. He made an internist or resident junior guy did it. On top of it he was pressing me to do procedures and then pushed some silly over the counter medication (containing peppermint oil). Finally i did go thru the procedure and he wanted me to visit him to get details of the result and prognosis. Dont waste your time with this doctor. Not worth it.

UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, DISAPPOINTING. Dr. Laurence Stawick, Providence Gastroenterology, who had performed 4 procedures for me from 2001-2011, IGNORED my request and repeated request for a recommendation for another gastroenterologist in my new health care network and IGNORED a request and a repeated request for release and sharing of the medical records of the 4 procedures I had received from Dr. Stawick.

Dr. Stawick and his staff have been nothing short of amazing. He personally reaches out to his patients in a more then timely manner. I've never received such good care by a physician and he's seems to genuinely care about his patients well being. He looks into all possibilities and rules them out one by one and takes the time to explain and give real understanding. I trust him with my health and could not have asked for a better experience during a very difficult time.

I was referred to the gastroenterologist by my internal medicine doctor. I spent 45 minutes with him and he did not bother to examine me at all; merely asked me to go thru an expensive procedure (out of pocket will cost about 700). I was having constant stomach pain and I had expected this specialist to examine me and press my stomach region to isolate the problems. He did not !! This is the first time in 60 plus years of life that a doctor did not physically examine me !! It is absolutely crazy
