Dr. Jacobs did a gullbladder removal along with a liver hemagonia that was massive! He had his resident along the side with him Dr.Pansari ! They were incredible,caring,and didn’t treat me like a patient they treated me like family! I will recommend Dr.Jacobs to family and friends along with his resident! I will continue to go back to Dr.Jacobs ! Thanks so much! Also his surgical scheduler Michelle is amazing! She is caring,wonderful and does whatever she can to get you scheduled! Dr. Jacobs and his entire team ( including the residents and students) are the most caring, professionals with the best beside mannors. They explain every step of your procedure from what to expect to what to do for the best recovery. They are by your side for any of your needs! THANK YOU WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH!!! Excellent experience!

He performed a hernia repair operation on me in 2021. The operation was a success but I lost a testicle as a result of the operation.

I credit Dr. Jacobs for saving my life, and I will forever be extremely grateful for him. I was diagnosed with a very rare gastric condition at age 16, and for the past 12 years my family and I were attempting to find a treatment so that I could live a normal life. We went to the University of Michigan and Mayo Clinic and they were unable to offer me any treatments or recommendations. I had a massive GI bleed that could have been fatal, and Dr. Jacobs was the one to step in, review my case in greater detail than it had been before, and suggested a partial gastrectomy. Although my family and I were very hesitant to pursue an aggressive surgical option at my age (27), he was very realistic about what to expect with the surgery, and went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and make us feel comfortable going through with the surgery. I am happy to say that I almost a year out of surgery with excellent results! When I think of the word "hero", Dr. Jacobs comes to my mind. I will continue to recommend everyone to Dr. Jacobs, as he is the epitome of an excellent doctor and compassionate person.

I had appendicitis. It was caught early. I was admitted and put on IV antibiotics overnight. Upon assessing my status in the morning, Dr. Jacobs proposed that there was a strong possibility a 7-day course of antibiotics would put me right. It did. I was unaware some cases of appendicitis can be treated this way. From what I've heard, some doctors won't consider it. I'm happy to still have my appendix and to have avoided the risks associated with a surgery. Though my interactions have been limited, it was easy to see why Dr. Jacobs gets such good reviews. The staff and other doctors at Ascension Novi were also great - morale was very high compared to some past experiences I've had. Multiple staff spoke very highly of him. You should feel confident in your care if he is your doctor.

I become emotional when I think of the day that I met this incredible surgeon. It was an emergency situation, as I had a gangrenous and severely inflamed organ, for which removal was complicated by severe endometrial adhesions throughout my abdomen.
