List of Robert R. Johnson's Reviews
Dr Johnson and Dr Fessler worked together and saved my life after I had an artery burst in my brain. I am 59 now, this happened over 15 years ago, I am grateful to be alive!! They are the best. A God send
Dr. Johnson is a awesome surgeon. He did my neck surgery Feb 2019 and now you can hardly see the scare. His staff is also awesome. Tgey take great care of you.
They rescheduled my first appointment and I had to wait 3 weeks to be seen. They told me the wrong location for the second appointment, so I missed that one. Now I have to wait 6 more weeks to get in. Unacceptable
Don’t waste your time coming here. After waiting 3 months to see Dr. Johnson. He has No real concern or compassion towards his patients. You will get better answers on google then asking him. Dr. Johnson spent a total of 5 whole minutes and quickly took off to see the next patient. He didn’t discuss my x-rays or MRI reports. These money hungry doctors can identify who are good candidates for surgery because that’s how they make their money. He suggested pawing me off to pain clinic.

These money hungry doctors can identify who is a good candidate for surgery because that’s how they make their money. He suggested pawing me off to PT or pain clinic. Both my parents are physicans and they said some doctors weed out patients that need surgery so the can fill their pockets. The rest they refer to pain clinic. A prime example of failed healthcare system. Patients are just cattle coming in and out of that place. I will make it my mission to let the whole world know to stay clear away from Dr. Johnson II.
Appointment started 25 minutes late. Medical assistant was rude. Spent 5 minutes or less with a med student and then 3 minutes with the doctor. Somehow this experience took nearly 2 hours! I felt very rushed when interacting with the dr and staff. The dr did not really listen at all. At the end I had a question, the medical assistant acted as though I ruined her day by asking a question. I left feeling very frustrated and with no real solution to better manage my pain.
I was in more pain than I was before I saw him. This doctor did not help my issues. I had to see another surgeon to fix my back.
Great physician. He handled my case extremely well. I trust him and find him incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and kind.
Dr. Johnson is one of the most caring and easy-going (but DEFINITELY qualified) surgeons, i.e., neurosurgeons, around! I have had 50 years of spine issues and would go to no one else. He has done several surgeries on my spine and the outcomes have been very positive! He takes time with you as a patient in the office--I have never felt rushed! Very qualified and just plain nice. I have been a RN for 35 years and he is my doctor of choice!
What a great surgeon from the first time I met Dr Johnson I knew I was going to get great care, and I did. Could not be happier after he cleaned out my lower spine I can live, work and golf pain free now I highly recommend Dr Robert Johnson and all of the Michigan Head and Spine to everyone

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
