List of Lansing Urgent Care- Okemos's Reviews
Was very quick. Thanks. Appreciate the online check in.
Fine, friendly staff from receptionist, medical assistant to check me in, provider Cheryl Elfring, & Zac, who gave me the steroid shot in the hip. Was very happy to use their pharmacy right there for meds! Great idea! All this, because I was stung by a black wasp, Monday night at 7:30. Redness & swelling only getting worse. Went here at 1PM on Wednesday!!! Should not have waited so long! Today, is Friday at 2PM & swelling gone, & just a hint of redness! Was deep red & hot! ALLERGIC
Had wax in my ear and she removed as much as she could and gave me meds to help
I really appreciate the hospitality of the urgent care. It can be overwhelming goin into a clinic/ER for whatever reason but the staff made my visit super easy. The receptionist was such a sweetheart. I would come back for a splinter just to experience the great customer service I received at this location! 😂 Thanks again!
Check in process is infuriating and delayed being seen.
This was one of the best experiences I've ever had at an urgent care. The staff was all friendly and caring! It was very clean inside and the wait was short.
I appreciated the friendly staff. I like being able to check in online and be reminded when I should head over because my time is near.
The doctor was amazing and they had me in and out quick as soon as I had my paperwork filled out they called me back
My husband had 3 positive Covid tests and was able to get in to see our doctor, who quickly gave him Paxlovid, which helped him a lot. A few days later I started having symptoms, then had a positive test myself. I couldn’t get in to see the doctor for a week, so decided to go to urgent care. The PA said my test was negative and he didn’t want to give out Paxlovid because it causes rebound. (I never actually saw the test results for the record.) He sent me home and essentially told me to take Tylenol and treat the symptoms. Four days later I have raging covid, two more positive tests while my husband is symptom free and has not had rebound. I’m miserable (I have a chronic genetic disorder I’m already dealing with) and at risk of spreading the infection to others. Why does a PA think they know more than a medical doctor? He struck me from his demeanor, dress, and tone of voice as someone who voted for trump. As a middle aged woman with a chronic pain disorder, being dismissed by male medical providers is part of my daily life, but this was next level.
Everything was great. Jordan, and the whole team, took very good care of my entire family when we all came in for a strep test. All four of us at the same time was not easy task, but everybody was professional and kind!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
