Pandit Rheumatology's Online Review Report Card

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bakshi for about three or four years now. I’ve never truly been impressed with my experience at this office. I have waited for a max of three hours in the waiting room and then an hour and a half in a room. The office only does infusions on one day of the week for a few hours which isn’t flexible at all and cancels an hour before and expects you to take another day off work to come back with no apologies. The doctor never really gave my case much effort even though I’m extremely young with such extreme conditions. I’ve moved offices now and have discovered that I was not being treated probably and even though I was placed on immunosuppressants with this office, they never monitored my immune system correctly. I will never return to this office.

Love Dr. Pandit, she listens! After many years with Lupus and Sjogrens 30+ finally found a doctor and her staff are so understanding and kind. Only problem I wish I didn't have travel two hours to see her.

I had been in pain for over 20 years. My family doctor sent me to Two other arthritis doctors in the Lansing area that were terrible but were supposed to be the best in town. Finally got to Dr. Pandit’s office, she gave me a certain blood test after listening to me closely and how much I hurt for so long. It came back positive for Ankylosis spondylitis. It’s a terrible auto immune disease. I cried happy tears when she told me. Because everybody else said I was crazy and it was all in my head. Dr. Pandit has helped me so much. There is no cure for this auto immune but she has given me medicine to help relieve some of the Pain. I do have permanent damage from them not knowing what was wrong with me for 20 years. I wish I would’ve found Dr. Pandit back then so we could’ve avoided some of the damage that has already been done. I owe my life to Dr. Pandit. I could’ve never went another 10 years without knowing what was wrong with me And gotten on the right medication. So Dr. Pandit‘s office is not as organized as sparrow but she had been the best Rheumatologist that I’ve ever had.

Doctor pandit is the best rheumatologist ever in all of Lansing and the surrounding city's. I have 3 forms of arthritis, 2 auto immune diseases, and have had 4 back surgery and she is the only doctor that I have been to that can control all of it. Yet not to mention that she spends a lot of time with her patients understanding them and knowing exactly how they feel. She truly cares about her patients. I think giving doctor panda 5 stars is an understatement I think it should be 10 stars. Believe me I bend 2 hundreds of doctors and she truly is the one.

I have only been a patient of Dr Pandit for 3 months. I would not recommend her office to anyone! I’ve seen her twice and both times she was running behind at least an hour but only spent about 15 min with me. She immediately stopped medication my previous dr had me on for over 2 years that worked great, constantly interrupted me as I was explaining my ailments, what I know works well for me etc. she ordered lab work that had results that were not normal but has not taken the time to sit and go over them with me or come up with a plan of treatment without discussing it with me. I’m now in constant pain, swelling, etc and been off work for 2.5 weeks. Amanda was supposed to fill out my FMLA paperwork before going on vacation this week and it still is not done. She’s had it 2 weeks and it’s due today

Dr. Pandit’s office was extremely unhelpful and slow in getting my medical records. My new provider and I tried many months to get access to my medical records and they did not send anything or even respond. I called multiple times to the office phone number and no one answers, if you leave a voicemail they do not call you back. After finally getting ahold of someone, they told me they would fax them to the new provider. I checked with my new provider the. Next day - no records received. I called them again and the same guy that said he faxed them over said he cannot legally fax documents. He lied. We finally got my documents after driving to the office after 3 months of no response. Do not go to this office if you like to get ahold of your doctor easily. Bad service, no responses, and they give you many wrong answers.

I will say Dr. Pandit when I was her patient a few years ago had a vibrant personality, good listener, and kind disposition. She was always listening, answering questions about my condition and positive! I don't know of she's still like this but I enjoyed being her patient. For me it was her staff that made me leave her care. There was a disconnect between them and her quality of care and attention being paid to her patients. They didn't seem to care. One seems like a "head nurse" and was good but she always seemed frustrated and tense with staff. The girls behind the counter were awful with no phone etiquette or professionalism. They would forget to fill prescriptions, leave ambiguous messages, or not leave messages at all . Over time when you would get in quickly to see Dr. Pandit it started to take hours to see her. Waiting for hours was not acceptable I don't know what happened but I just lost faith in her quality of care and when she began to show signs of frustration and anger I felt I needed to leave and find better succinct care.

Dr. PANDIT may be a good diagnostition But her office organization is terrible. It would take up too much space to explain My situation. It seems like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. AND THE WAIT IS WAY TOO LONG.you wait and wait while you are shuffled to another room only to have the student Dr come in and not have a clue why you're there.

Don't see this one if you're looking for help or want to be listened to. Went for specific reasons and got passed off, only to get told to seek other help. On top of that, never had a circumstance where a doctor mixed me up with another patient. Maybe they're better for easy cases.

Dr. Pandit is very thorough and thoughtful in her examination and treatment. Office staff are friendly and helpful. I feel confident about treatment and quality of doctoring.
