List of Margaret Frey's Reviews
New building, new equipment... Staff is still working out the bugs and kinks. Otherwise, very friendly, relaxed environment and very knowledgeable with great explanations.
A terrible office. The doctor just gaslights you into compliance. Treatments are offered and there is no follow up. Prescriptions are awful, if you even get your medicine, the dosage changes. I had my mask ripped off by the assistant before vaccines were available. After that event it was just further abuse until I attempted to stand up for myself and the doctor laughed at me and called me a liar. Disgusting display of bullying.
There is a severe lack in compassion and decency. I've had my mask ripped off my face from the assistant and nothing was done at all when it was brought up. If you continue to have chronic pain issues, the doctor will not be sympathetic. Instead you'll be treated like a liar and laughed at, right to your face. It's difficult enough to even make an appointment, but how you're treated is just awful. Very artificial kindness when it is attempted.
Margaret Frey is a good mom, 10/10. Also, KASEY, you must remember that she is a professional. She went to school for 16 years. I do not doubt that your pain was there, but please listen to reason. You might have been overreacting. Thank you. And if you see this mom, can we have Cancun for dinner? Thanks :)
I had an appointment with Dr Margaret Frey from an EMG procedure on September 4th. 2020. Dr Frey’s clinical staff was rude / salty and condescending . I am a chronic pain patient with nerve damage. All of the staff members in this office need to be re trained / in-serviced on compassion and empathy towards ALL patients, I feel that the “pain scale” that is provided for documentation purposes, has very little bearing on a chronic pain patients type of pain. So when I tell the clinical staff that my pain level is a 10 I would appreciate the side eye glances/tone of voice change as if I am LYING about THE SEVERITY OF MY PAIN TO STOP!!! BECAUSE IF THEY ARE DOING IT TO ME, THEY ARE DOING IT TO EVERYONE! Generally nerve damage is invisibleOnce Dr Frey decided to enter the exam room I was in, her bedside manner was also lacking. When she asked me how I was and said not well, my neuropathy causes debilitating pain her response was “ well hopefully better days are ahead” so out of touch with the life of a chronic pain patient! Dr. Frey could assist me with better days if she would have listened to me. I opted to have a small fiber neuropathy biopsy completed on Sept 15 2020. Once I was called back to the exam room I was asked to disrobe down to my t shirt and panties with a sheet on . So Dr Frey comes in the room and starts the biopsy the door swings open ( mind you I am still half dressed ) and some girl in scrubs walks in . She immediately starts talking to Dr Frey completely ignoring me, I waited until THEIR conversation had paused and said ‘ HI WHO ARE YOU I AM KASEY’ they both looked at me and giggled and Dr Frey said oh this Is either her MA or Scribe, I couldn’t really heard what she said, but the point is, this seemed like business as usual for them, and the person should always KNOCK AND INTRODUCE THEMSELVES TO THE PATIENT FIRST AND FOREMOST! The MA called 3 times before hand with a blocked number ( 99% of people don’t answer calls with blocked /restricted numbers ) to do the “ over the phone assessment “ when i was to receive my results, she asked me once again on a scale of 1-10 what is your pain I once again told her 10++ she said oh my!! Is this every day?!?! I’ll make sure I let Dr Frey know. I said Oh she knows I am in this much pain….So Dr Frey’s office called and registered again for the results and Joyce the receptionist was RUDE SALTY and wasn’t gonna be told she was WRONG! When I scheduled the appointment Joyce offered me a “facetime” appointment. I thought to myself perfect, I don’t have to leave my home, well Joyce calls to ‘check me in’ and says well Dr Frey has an hour window to call you , I said Joyce why didn’t you tell me that, when I scheduled the appointment I am glad I don’t have anything planned , she immediately got defensive and said YES I DID, I said oh no I was going to have an in – real – life appointment with Dr Frey and you said well you I do have a facetime
Dr Frey was woefully lacking in her compassion, empathy and bedside manner. She is out of touch with the life of a chronic pain patient. Dr Frey's clinical staff are rude/condescending / gave side eye glancing/tone of voice changes. So when I tell the clinical staff that my pain level is a 10 I would appreciate the side eye glances/tone of voice change as if I am LYING about THE SEVERITY OF MY PAIN TO STOP! BECAUSE IF THEY ARE DOING IT TO ME, THEY ARE DOING IT TO EVERYONE! Generally nerve damage is invisible! I opted to have a biopsy performed to confirm diagnosis, while having the biopsy performed by Dr Frey a girl in scrubs barges in the room without knocking, started a conversation with Dr Frey, i politely waited to a pause in THEIR conversation, introduced myself and said who are you?!? ( mind you i am 1/2 dressed. Dr and staff looked at each other and giggled... Seemed as business as usual. CHRONIC PAIN PATIENTS AVOID AT ALL COSTS! 90% IS TONE OF VOICE 10% IS WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!

When Dr Frey did facetime me for the appointment her MAIN concern was who was controlling my pain, mind you she is NEUROLOGIST NEUROPATHY IS HER SPECIALITY! The way I was treated was reprehensible! Hands down one of the worst doctor visits in my life.

Absolutely disgraceful "doctor" giving terminal diagnosis without thoroughly investigating the symptoms. This person is unprofessional and totally irresponsible.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
