Memorial Pain Clinic's Online Review Report Card

I’m not going to lie I’m really shocked at these reviews. I Myself have been a patient of Dr.Guglani for a few years now and He has been extremely kind,respectful and just all around a great Doctor. He has gone above and beyond to help Me manage My pain and listens to any thoughts and concerns I have. I have some health complications that make treating Me a little different but He has done a great job explaining My options and finding out the best treatment and what works for Me. I would highly recommend Dr. Guglani to anyone who has pain management issues.

Wow,very cocky and totally dominates the conversation! Staff is very polite and professional. Maybe some etiquette classes for the doc would do.

Can't do 0 stars or would. Dr. G said I can't prove I have pain so he walked out and did nothing. Been on meds for 8 years from another Dr due to old injury accident. UPDATE: Folks I switched to Flint Pain Clinic! Wow. What a difference. Instead of being billed $100.00 for each visit to only get a prescription (I refused injections from worthless "Dr." G.) I now get injections and meds for $40 which is correct for my insurance. Flint has a machine that can tell where the shots need to go! It's so good and accurate. Feel better than I ever have in years. The Drs, the staff are wonderful in Flint. Caring and truly want to help! Switch if you can you won't be sorry. Dr. Arceo in Owosso is good if you can get him instead of G. Good luck and prayers for the right help!

The doctor is worthless. His staff is amazing. If I could give a negative-star review, I would.

Im not sure why the reviews are so bad? I was referred to Pain Management from the VA. I personally picked this doctor! I know someone who has similar back issues who said he was great! It took a couple months for it to get approved and get an appointment but that was no fault of the staff! They received the referral called me within a day to schedule and had me on the books within a week! Being a Vet, I know the importance of maintaining your own medical record. I copy everything at least once so I came in with quite a large folder full of medical records pertaining to diagnosis’s. I came to him mostly for the back pain that I have been having as I am seeing other specialists! But I brought it all! I came to my appointment a good 30 min early because of my records. I was takin back before my appointment time. I did have to do a urinalysis, I mean look at the crisis we are dealing with in the U.S. what do you expect? But that was whatever. I am not on any actual pain medication nor did we even discuss pain medication. He came in and was extremely thorough! Listened to me, asked tons of questions, went through my documents to make sure he didn’t miss anything with me. He had me do some updated imaging but went ahead and scheduled the first procedure even if it was just exploratory. He explained everything in great detail asked multiple times if I had any questions! I was very impressed and I have seen a TON of doctors he tops the list! I had to call back with questions and the lady who answered was very kind and informative! I am glad I chose this doctor thus far!

Awful place to go for help with pain. The doc will literally tell you theres nothing they can do to help manage the pain. They referred me to a diff doc and yet 2 weeks go by and I havent heard anything. Called the clinic 2 times in those two weeks. A week ago I was told the other doc had an old number an they contacted them an gave then correct number. Another week goes by still nothing. I called the clinic got the number myself an called myself only to find out the clinic never contacted them with my current number. It's not hard to do a job! And a pain clinic is suppose to help manage pain. This one for 3 years has not one time helped me for any of my pain! Doctor is horrible an not to mention RUDE!

Not for my own experience but when I used to take my dad there they did nothing for him and I do mean nothing they don't give a flying f*** how bad you hurt

The "Dr" is a disgrace to his profession and treats everyone like a drug addict. My 72 year old mother is talked down to and made to feel like she's a hypochondriac or something even though she has severe osteoporosis with broken ribs and a crumbling spine. She's on a low dose pain reliever and he acts like he's giving her morphine or some hard core drug and is threatening to reduce what little she gets now because there aren't any new broken bones he can see. If you care about you family members please encourage them to go somewhere else.

I have been going here for about a year or so and after reading these other reviews I have to say I'm totally shocked. Dr G, James, the nurses, the office staff etc. have been amazing in their dealings with me and my health needs/problems. I have been treated with almost nothing but kindness compassion respect and concern from everyone on staff here. There has been one issue of rudeness with one staff during a phone conversation however that was fixed when I spoke up an addressed in an adult manner. And honestly in a setting such as this there is always that one person who someone is just gonna clash not get along with. The rest of the staff is just incredible.

If I could hit negative -0 for stars I would. He shouldn't even be at the hospital practicing. He is RUDE, down right ruthless to patients. Not only have I been told but a few friend's (that quit going to see him) were told..."There's nothing wrong with you", "it's all in your head", "you're obese", "I'm not giving you any pain medication for this"....I've NEVER been to such an arrogant doctor in my life until him. Memorial should be ASHAMED to have him there.
