List of Walid Azmeh's Reviews
My daughter was having severe stomach pains and our pediatrician has sent us to see Dr Azhme. She was being checked for appendicitis. We were sent to have a cat scan and asked us to wait there for the results. After waiting in the waiting room for over an hour the secretary called and left me a voicemail to go home nothing was wrong. I didn't receive the call right away since I had bad service. Then later possibly since I didn't answer the phone call which they told me they would come tell us the results Dr azhme came down to tell us the results. He told me go home nothing was wrong with her. I knew something was wrong and I said so she's just making it up and he said maybe she has the flu. Well to make a long story short she was taken to sparrow hospital and I had to beg and annoy memorial X-ray department for her results for hours because they didn't want to do another Ct. finally about 6 hours later they said we could pick them up. When they were reviewed at sparrow she was scheduled for surgery for appendicitis. They were other findings in the Ct scan which I was as told nothing was wrong. I can't explain my anger towards people who do not carefully review these test or take people seriously. Sparrow had all the test from memorial and they went off them minus doing another blood test. So to all the people involved with the care of my daughter you have made it so we will not be using memorial hospital for anything but my children's pediatrician who tried her best to get us help. My children will never have a test ran there again. It's so sad because I know I am not the only person that has had this problem. I wanted to share my story and review which will be copied to each review page of all involved. My daughter spent 4 days in the hospital and had surgery and I'm thankful it was at sparrow where we were treated nice and knew what was going on at all times.
Took care of divertiulitous and removed part of intestine . Great care over months of recoup Easy to talk to and answers all questions. Great doctor.
Dr. Azmeh performed gallbladder surgery on me. His staff got me right in to see him and surgery was scheduled a couple days later after I went through testing. I am a worry-wart and called the office quite a bit with questions. They were wonderful and helped me through a scary time. Lora made me feel very welcomed to their office. Surgery went well, recovery was well recovery. My follow-up visit was just as welcoming as when I first met the staff. Dr. Azmeh took the time to make sure I understood everything and was very kind. I recommend him highly!!
My husband and I were very pleased with Dr. Azmeh and his staff. He explained everything to me and waited for me and my husband to ask any questions regarding my surgery. His staff was very friendly, especially after I asked them a million questions. I am scheduled for surgery and will post how it goes. Several friends referred me to him because they were very satisfied with their surgeries. I would also recommend Dr. Azmeh
This has been the most horrific experience. Released from the hospital too soon after an APR, developed perianual wound infection and re-hospitalized 9 days later, continued to have problems. Ended up going to Mayo Clinic, spent 8 weeks there to get the infection cleared up. Several other problems have developed due to the surgery, now have to see a new surgeon and have things patched up.
APR procedure done very poorly. Developed perianual wound infection. Spent two months at Mayo clinic clearing up infection. 14 months later continue to have life threatening problems. Another major surgery is required to clean up his mess

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
