Dr. Talbott was a stand in doctor for my mom's post surgery care. She was a long time smoker with lung cancer. She is aware of her situation and before the surgery quit smoking. Dr. Talbott told her "it doesn't count" and "so today's your first day quitting, right?" Of course it doesn't count, does she need to be told that? She is not stupid. She just went through MAJOR physical surgery and now emotional ...
