The physicians at this office may be quite good, or so I am told. Getting an appointment is nearly impossible.The patient service is beyond terrible. My referral was made on January 19, 2023. I confirmed it the next day and was told to call back if I wasn't contacted the next week. After the next week passed I called and was told that they could not predict when a file would even be created let alone an appointment scheduled. I called again after 4 weeks and after six weeks. The calls all went to voicemail. I have left three messages to speak to the office manager. No person from this office has ever called or sent me a message regarding my referral. I called the main hospital administration number and was told the office manager would contact me and it never happened. Complaints similar to mine go back three years. This one will generate the same disingenuous computer response and nothing will change. So, if you want to see one of these so called world class cardiologists I guess you need to go to the ER with a heart attack.

The customer service at this office is very bad. As a potentially new patient, I confirmed the transfer of my medical records to this office on 01/25/23. Since then I have left numerous messages for Nicki (?), the “new patient coordinator “ to contact me to set-up an appointment and I have not received a call back from anyone. Often when you call, the phone system immediately puts you on hold and says “the operator will be with you in a moment” and then, after an extended hold time, hangs up on you. It scares me to think how a medical emergency would be handled with them.

Sat for 2.5 hours waiting for my appt.they told me they forgot about me I ended up leaving going to store then home 40 miles away they called when I pulled in driveway asking where I was are you kidding me im getting this loop recorder out of my chest and going elsewhere obviously I'm a inconvenience for you and my health is not a concern

I recently had a heart catherization procedure at McLaren Northern Michigan with Dr. Mattichack and his cath team. I was impressed with their expertise, efficiency, focus, conscientiousness, patience, kindness, tenacity and commitment. Easy peasy for me!!

Not the first but it will be my last. Sent there with ct scans of legs with severe stanoises in both legs. Waited a month and a half to find out they DON'T even do that type of surgery. Why charge me why make me an appointment for sometime YOU DON'T DO??? Short of cash or WHAT.

Having to explain why you need to reschedule your appointments due to your child having medical issues is embarrassing and down right rude. No patient should have to explain why they need to reschedule. I called 48 hours ahead of time. Most patients would have no-showed their appointments but I was courteous enough to call and let the facility know ahead of time. As a medical professional myself their error was unacceptable and very unprofessional. The gentleman I spoke to was very rude and not empathic. This would have been my second bad experience with this facility. I'm not sure why I chose to go back. I will no longer use their services. Charlevoix is the way to go for anyone looking for care.

Dr. MIRANDA, is an absolutely amazing cardiologist. He is kind, compassionate, caring and highly skilled. He is a perfect gentleman, extremely polite, he is the epitome, of the perfect doctor.

Completely unacceptable customer service. I've been seeing them for 2 weeks and I've had 2 appointments cancelled on me. They even call the afternoon before a 9 AM appointment to do so and they schedule the next one an entire month out. I would understand if it were for others needing emergency appointments but it is simply because the doctors change their mind last minute about what procedures they would like to do. This office is unorganized. I suggest you go to an office that respects your time even if it is a bit of a drive. Update: they called at 10 AM to cancel an appointment that was taking place at 2 PM that day.
