Brian Markle's Online Review Report Card

Not a LGBT friendly office. Also there is a couple really rude staff members

I saw Dr. Markle for the first time and had to wait the usual month to be seen for a pancreatic cyst. I set up a procedure I need to have done to test the fluid in my pancreatic cyst. I left the office and as soon as I get home I get a call from the office that they actually do not take my insurance network. That I should not have been even scheduled in the first place and now I am stuck finding someone else who can see me for this procedure that I need to have done. I truly cannot believe the front office did not check my insurance ahead of time nor catch this before I was seen. They literally had a whole month beforehand. I thought I had everything taken care of and now I am back at square one. It is extremely wrong to do this to a patient. The office staff must be very incompetent to have let this happen.

Love the staff and Dr Markle. They squeezed me in today. I had changed my appointment to accommodate a business need. I was very concerned about my condition and received some positive news and comfort. God bless Dr. Markel and staff! During this very I tough time it is fantastic to have a great experience!

I was given a script for a colonoscopy prep. My insurance covered a different comparable prep. The pharmacy contacted his office 3 times and I did 2 times. Nurse finally said that’s what Dr wants you to have. I ended up paying $140.00 out of pocket. While on the table before procedure I asked the Dr about it- he said I could have used the one my insurance company allowed - his office ignored it and did not allow the pharmacy to change to prep that was covered under my insurance. To make matters worse, they charged me an additional $400.00 “new patient fee” that I had to pay out of pocket. I had seen this Dr within the last 5 years - Still have same insurance but office says it was too long since last visit. I was too ill to argue. Run from this Dr.

Caring, explans well, nly good things to say

I had a tough time dealing with some rectal bleeding, later with the help of Dr. Markle, found out it was colon cancer. He could not have been more compassionate when delivering this very difficult news. I greatly appreciate everything he has done for me.

We agree with other reviews about the staff, medical assistant was fine but the front office staff is very nasty and unhelpful. Dr. Markle is slightly arrogant, did not bother to look at the previous health history and what we have been through thus far, also not acknowledging how well versed the patient was about her conditions and talked to her/us as if we had no knowledge at all. All he did was check the box on the standard rubric of cookie cutter care and not think outside of it or show any compassion with it. Not impressed and will not recommend to others.

I am surprised by some of the negative feedback. My family member had a great experience with Dr. Markle and his staff. The front staff was courteous. They worked with the insurance company to get the very expensive medicine and scans covered under my policy. He was running behind that day, but spend ample time with us without rushing. He did not have all the records of the prior the prior testing done, but did go through it after the visit and personally called us just as he said he would. We were very pleased and highly recommend him to others.

Took time to listen, did not spend the whole visit staring at a computer screen which is very rare these days. Great personality. Can't recommend enough.
