Todd Francis's Online Review Report Card

I was referred by my Primary for a 2nd opinion for gluteal and horrendous right thigh pain. It took me 45min to get walking every morning, and lying down was miserable. My initial office reception by Jessica and Isabelle, which was amiable and professional, to MAs Holly and Malcolm (thought they were NPs), providing excellent patient care, it got better. Dr Frances took a repeated, unresolved physical problem, and took action. If it weren't for Dr Francis's action, I'd be miserable. He got me right into other specialists for diagnosis, treatment, and then further diagnosis and treatment after the 2nd visit. I may not have wanted to hear it, but he saved me an unnecessary surgery. The next diagnosis, from a neurologist may be it. Incredible treatment, and quarterbacking, even when it is not the neurosurgeon's procedure. This is the classic surgeon. Gold Standard.

Due to a spinal cord injury and brain tumor I have had the opportunity to experience many neurosurgeons be it as an on call doctor or my treating physician and without hesitation I can tell you Dr. Todd Francis is so much more than a neurosurgeon. He has an amazing bedside manner. When he enters your room he has a strong, confident yet comforting demeanor, that gives you the knowledge that he will do whatever it takes to protect you, and make you better. When he speaks he chooses his word carefully to assure you are given the exact information you need. However, after he shares his knowledge, he listens intently, and reassures your mind by taking his time to answer every question and explain difficult concepts in understandable ways. He never loses sight that you are a person, most likely scared and overwhelmed. When he interacts with you he treats you like you are his only patient. When you are in need he is there, when you need someone to fight for you he will stand next to you. It is an honor to have Dr. Todd Francis as your neurosurgeon, if you give your all, he will too.

Wow I walked out of the hospital after surgery pain free. Dr Francis is very easy to talk to ,very pleasant personality . I would recommend him to anyone

Dr Francis is an all around awesome doctor! He is great at what he does and makes the process if needing back surgery so easy. Great bed side manners!!! Wont see anyone else but him!

Dr Francis is the best neurosurgeon out here! He’s upto date and not old school which is HUGE when it comes to spine surgeries. Highly recommended him!

Dr. Francis gave me my life back! I had been to sevral other surgeons in the metro Detroit area and I chose Dr. Francis because of his credentials (Cleveland Clinic trained!) and his bedside manner. I highly recommend him!
