I went to my Mothers appt with her and met Dr.Canto for the first time. I was very impressed. She clearly explained test results and answered all our questions. She’s sweet natured, caring, and concerned for her patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Canto. I’m very happy with the care my mom receives from her. Thank you Dr.Canto!

Dr. Canto is one of the worst Doctors I have seen. She doesn't listen to what you have to say, if you speak up “you're playing the doctor” & “you’re going to make me look bad for writing a script I know your insurance won’t approve” is what she had told me. I had asked for a new weight loss method & she fought me every way she could. I was kicked out of the office for standing up and questioning her. She's very outdated in the nutritional information she's giving her patients. Also, plan on sitting in the waiting room for a minimum of 45 minutes. Every good doctor that had been in the office of Port Huron Internal Medicine left within 3 months of me seeing them for the first time. I had to resort to seeing outdated Dr. Canto. It’s time to retire.

Dr Canto and her staff are phenomenal! I'm a person with many medical conditions. She's the most thorough Dr I've ever been to. Her Staff bends over backwards EVERY TIME ??

I’ve been going to Dr.Canto for a few months now and as far as my experience goes with her I have so many great things to say about her, and her staff. She not only takes the time to listen to your concerns she also goes out of her way to share her own life experiences to help calm the stresses down. She is the best doctor I have gone to in the 30 years I’ve been on this earth. Thank you for being the doctor that helps, you are much appreciated.
