List of Fahim Ibrahim's Reviews
I was in excrutiating pain once 2 different drops were administered to my eye. I don't know why (Maybe allergic?) No one cared even when I was crying because of the pain. Then Dr. seemed to be mad at me and was harsh and said "we do this or you can go - or else it's London!" I have to go back in there today and I'm scared. I tried to call office and no one is answering, just a phone message on their line (and I know the office is open).
They double book so-called appointments. Appointment at 12 has two different, unrelated patients booked at the same time and to me this smacks of lying if I am told my appointment is at 12 and the person in front of me is also booked at twelve. The wait period is two to three hours of boredom and sharing the waiting room air packed with people. Staff is arrogant, hostile and no help. When questioned why I needed a specific therapy, I was given erroneous information. Be careful and question and if you are a senior take a long a friend who can advocate for you.
I have no complaints about Dr. Ibraham. His office is very busy, and they do not send you reminders about your appointment, so the onus is on you to make the appointment at the scheduled time. His office is cramped and it looks like chaos, but everything seems to work. He tells things matter of fact, and recommends a course of action. In my case, my eye pressure was slightly high, and he had the SLT treatment done for both eyes within a week. As far as his staff, I found them all competent at their job. No complaints.
I have been going to Dr Ibrahim for 30 years . He has always been kind and helpful in my situation. He also looked after both of my elderly parents perfectly well. He has so much knowledge especially with glaucoma. People come from all over Ontario..as far as Windsor to seek his help. Sure you have to wait but he he is one of the best
Really quick. Very kind and friendly during this first ever appointment.
EXCELLENT and so glad we have him to help us with our eye sight. Very quick and professional however could be a very long wait for your turn at the facility.
Never answer their damn phone and the mailbox is always full so you can't leave a message! Horrible service!
I was an emergency referral on Sunday May 22, Dr. Ibrahim and his wife met myself and 2 other patients at 4 p.m. on this long weekend at his office . He arranged my appointment for emergency detached retinal surgery at St. Joseph's, Ivey Eye Institute. He went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. Cannot thank him and his wife enough.
Staff is very kind and helpful. Dr. Ibrahim - less so. Fairly arrogant and dismissive. Doesn't like to be asked questions, walks out in the middle of my question. But the worst is the overcrowding... I get it, he is a specialist, but why does he have to overbook so badly?? There are always people standing in long line-ups in the corridor... wait time is 90 minutes (minimum) to see him for 2 minutes. Also, extremely rude towards a young lady-student... uggh!!!
Worst experience ever, worst staff, worst behavior, worst office

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
