Josh the NP was the reason why I love this hospital so much. He was amazing when my face seem to be frozen.
Chronically ill patient and all of the staff members were amazing and treated me like a human being instead of a frequent flyer like most other hospitals do. I'd give the staff 10 stars if I could!
I’m not even sure where to start. I wished they gave an option for zero stars. However, Mclaren was very busy one night so I had decided to give this hospital ANOTHER chance. I thought surely they have changed. Nope. Even after they neglected to tell me the last time that my appendix were ruptured and I was septic. They diagnosed me with constipation and Mclaren cleaned up their mistake. This time around I had a lumbar puncture post headache. If you don’t know how it feels, I pray you never know. My doctor told me to go to the ER for this headache and they will give me a shot to relieve it. The front desk registration ladies were great to me! When I got back to the emergency room was when the nightmare started. They had assigned some “thinks he’s a doctor” nurse. He asked me all of the normal questions and gets irritated that I am not answering as fast as him, then immediately says “you have a positional headache which will resolve on its own”. He chuckles and walks out of the room. My vitals were checked by a nurse that didn’t even have the audacity to say hello. When I asked her a question she replied with a “mhm”. As I was in my room I hear the male nurse with the nasty attitude say “we’re just gonna let room 8 ride this headache out” and laugh. All of the nurses were standing around or sitting on their butts for TWO HOURS leaving me in that room and did not come see me. The nurses were so bored they were sitting on their phones showing each other stuff from their phones. Literally walking back forth whistling as they had nothing better to do. As I was waiting, I finally called my doctor and she told me to leave and go to Mclaren if they were going to treat me with such bad care. My nurse kept glaring down my husband with a sideways ugly smirk on his face because my husband finally asked if they were going to do something. My husband didn’t even want to take me back here because they left me to die last time I was there. But, I told them maybe they changed. Boy was I wrong! Worst care ever. The cocky, arrogant nurse in the emergency department shouldn’t even have his license. I left and went to Mclaren and they knew exactly what to do to relieve my headache because I had cerebral spinal fluid leaking throughout my head, neck and spine. I will see to it that I contact someone to handle the night shift at this hospital because no one deserves this type of treatment. Oh and to boot I never once seen a doctor or anyone else and I laid in that bed for almost two hours. So I guess they let nurses diagnose and just leave you to “ride it out”.
Had to take my child to the ER, was in a room in 10 min. Staff was caring friendly and helpful. ER Doctor was excellent, very knowledgeable, informative and took the time to help us understand options. Very good experience and 2 hours quicker then other local hospital.
The check-in at the front desk was smooth, the older woman behind the desk was a doll, and tended to me quickly. Insurance and PHI also went smoothly and I liked that you don't get pressured about the Religion mumbo jumbo like some places do(plus she was amused by my Norse Pagan joke I associate with). The Nurses and staff here were great, I was grateful that the staff were on the ball, and tended to my needs when I woke up from my surgery. All of them from the men and women were super. I loved my one male nurse joking with me about getting my 'drink' before I was put under anesthesia. When I woke up my nurse was really understanding about me needing the full oxygen mask off my face and switched to the nose oxygen for me. She also go me an extra blanket since I could feel my right nerve in my lower back was pinched really bad since I have nerve problems in my lower right back and my right side is messed up, and it causes me to get cold for some reason; once they gave me my medical cocktail I was taken back to the room I had been in.I was grateful for the consistent supply water and ice as my big honking tonsils were on fire. Also the nurse who set me up with that heating tube, was fantastic. I finally warmed up because of that.I was just grateful that the team who worked on me were not narrow minded about my procedure(female stuff) I needed done. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a doctor connected to this location and I was grateful to even get the handwritten card from my crew that worked with Dr. Bailey.Keep up the great work. =^_^=-Heather O
UPDATE: Another visit here 2/27/22. Absolutely wonderful staff again. Kind, compassionate, and great at what they do.Absolutely wonderful. I was here on 3/12/2021 in the ER during the day. My nurse (normally works in ICU) was awesome. My Radiologist technician was so nice, helpful and made me feel comfortable! The doctor was great as well. And the second nurse who came in during my visit was so pleasant right from the start! I cannot say enough good things about my visit and will recommend!
Horrible recent experience. ER bed broken had to stay sitting up or standing the whole time in terrible pain.
This nurse was yelling at my brother when he had a kidney stone. I think don’t think that is okay at all. And I think it’s completly ridiculous.
I recently had covid and went to Lake Huron Hospital ER. The staff treated me great and I didn't have to wait long either.
People that work here are super friendly thank you

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
