List of Marwan Shuayto's Reviews
They are always so genuine and supportive with me. Dr shuayto and Jeanette are helping me through my MS diagnosis and getting it treated as soon as they can. They are very nice to me and show true care. They treat you like a person. The office ladies are always really nice to me as well. The wait is a little long but I am not rushed when I am in with the doctor and I truly am thankful of all of the time these doctors spend with me when it is my turn. I was so worried I wouldn't find a doctor that knew much about my diagnosis but they are on top of it. Best care!
Dr. Shuayto is great, but his staff is a joke.
I have been seen by a NP. Nice person- not a Neurologist. The Dr does not do office visits. Yes, that means no appointments are made with the actual Neurologist. How can anyone recommend a Neurologist when you are never allowed to see the Neurologist? I have never been yelled at by the office staff but I have been in the waiting room over 12 times for several test the NP asked for and I have never been in the office without hearing office staff be snippy and loudly aggressive with patients. It could be I was just in the office on 12 bad days out of 365, but I doubt it
I thought Dr. Schuato was a good Dr. until I found out he had been treating me for something I didn't even have. Years and years of injections, x-rays, and office visits and nothing improved, so went for a second opinion and within 1 visit from the other neurologist who actually cared and observed my body, was given a different diagnosis, and felt physically better when I walked out of his office. Years of my life wasted at Michigan Neurology and Spine. Office staff has no idea what they are doing either. Frustrated everytime I left this office.
I am really confused about the current rating that is shown on google as everyone I know feels the same way about this office as my family and I do. Dr. Shuayto and his back staff are very friendly. There is only one girl in the front who is nice. The communication in the office from back to front is TERRIBLE. I get that front office is busy but their attitudes are terrible. My mother and my husband are current patients of this office and we are looking to switch both of them. You never get to see Dr. Shuayto, unless you are getting a procedure, you will always get pushed off to someone else, in our case its Gina (Janette Guertin). We like her and Dr. Shuayto, the seem like they care when they are in the room with you, then when you walk out and dealing with serious stuff... nothing is of urgency. This office is all about how much money they can make off you, actually our insurance company told us that they will no longer cover the excessive tests that this office things they have to run multiple times. This office is too busy to properly care for the patients that they have. Trying to get into them with an emergency situation is almost a joke. My mom has MS and she has been pumped so full of meds from both Shuayto & Gina. They may have caused some serious damage and possibly life threatning, recently due to side effects that my mom has been seen by them multiple times to try to get resolved and not once in the past 6 months have they considered it could be her meds. Shuayto has recommended for my mom to go to a hospital and be admitted at that hospital that does not have a MRI machine so he could order the test and then transport her to their facility to preform the test. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I feel that so many people are being taken advantage of. This is a good office to go to if you don't have anything serious, but if you have a serious neurological issue - STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE! You will become a dollar sign to this office and that is it. I don't know a single person who has been treated here that has been satisfied with their care, and if a person tells your otherwise then its because they have that person so doped up on meds, because they will give you whatever you want, and put you on a rotation of those meds. My mom is seeing a NP for her MS... that is absurd! And after recently seeing how important her severe symptoms are to them (not important at all!) She is ready to start looking for a new dr. Please do your research before thinking this office is a good choice!!! And warning - they have no respect for people who are a fall risk. They scheduled my mom for an MRI today and had her walk around the building twice because they she had to be asked the covid questions. She normally needs a wheel chair for any outdoor walking at this point. It may be time to get a lawyer involved.
He is THE ONLY Dr that listened to me, really listened. Gave me hope for a better future, very kind man. Not bad on eyes either, lol.
Awesome doctor

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
