List of Roger Kakos's Reviews
His office staff is amazing. He is a joke - you can get in and out in ten minutes - but he takes absolutely no interest in his patients personally. I have been going to him for about 3 years - he knows absolutely nothing about me and could care less. If all you need is a prescription refill or a "you need a mamogram or a colonoscopy" this is the place to go. He is at least 50# overweight and doesn't even set a good example - shopping tomorrow for a doc who actually cares about his patients
Joanie Cz has been with Dr Kakos I am guessing close to 30:years and me going on 17. My recent experience showcases his office personally answers the phone and clearly doesn’t force patients to voicemail 99 percent of the time. I have abeen confronted at least 10 times in attempts to find a specialist backed into voicemail.with no responses. If you want a medically responsive professional with years to proof it and not be tossed to voicemail or go to your nearest emergency room response with no return calls than Dr Kakos is the dr of choice ...an outstanding medical professional on all counts
Dr Kakos is a very good doctor. I went to him after issues with a prior health care physician. He helped me then and is continuing with my health care issues. He cared for me while I had coronavirus. His advice was excellent. I definitely would recommend him to all my friends and family.
My mother is 101, she is Dr. Kakos’ patient, and lives in independent housing with a lot of support. I live 35 miles away from her, and am the only person able to provide telehealth support for her with my iPhone. On two separate occasions during the Covid crisis I have had to contact this doctor. His appointment schedule was 1-5 pm, he gave no other option! I was expected to sit and wait for 4 hours! This is unacceptable patient care. A half hour window, or even one hour would have made this tolerable.
Dr. Kakos is a great listener, promptly returns phone calls and follows up as needed. I referred my husband to him after I had seen him for many years, and we are both happy with the care we receive there. His office staff used to be so-so, but are excellent now.
Dr. Kakos does a very good job and is very up front about his role as a primary care physician. He diagnosed a disorder and saved my life during annual physical. I've never had any issues with any personal or scheduling.
Dr. Kakos has always returned phone calls if I have concerns or questions. He is a very good listener and has correctly diagnosed my illnesses. It is my opinion that he truly cares about his patients and is very dedicated to helping them.
My husband and I both have Dr. Kakos as a primary care physician. On the few occasions when I have been very ill and tried to get in to see Dr. Kakos,I have waited several days before I could get in. ( As a result, I have now found a preferred urgent care for emergencies.) Also, be warned that if you need refills on medication, you will need to call at least 2 - 3 times before your request is fultilled. I would rate the office staff as mediocre at best.
Dr. Normal Kakos is brilliantly fantastic! After three doctors misdiagnosed me, a friend recommended him. She too was recommended. The Dr. did his check-up, reviewed my data, asked me a bunch of question, ran some of his tests, and nailed the diagnosis in two visits. I have been feeling so much better since seeing him. He is honest, educates you, treats you like an adult. He needs more magazine variety in his office, you can tell he is a sports fan.
Very nice, sincere and put mw at ease and made sure I was thoroughly informed. Highly recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
