He is awesome! I will be forever grateful for his kindness . When my insurance would not pay for my medication he went to bat to get it covered. Plus gave me samples until we were able to get it covered. He is patient with all the questions I had and more. I would refer anyone who needed a Dermatologist and wanted the best! Dr Semlier is one of a kind He is Special and the best in my eyes..Excellent bed side manner he listens, and he CARES KNOWLEDGE IS UP TO DATE HE will always be my Dermatologist Disabled RN of 29yrs, due to 1) Skin Disease He is so good yes it's hard to get an appointment once your a regular it gets easier FYI his PA's/ NP'S are also the Best highly Recommended !!!!!

He is a very nice and approachable physician who takes his time with you and really cares. He is very thorough and this provides a lot of comfort and ease with him as well.

Office staff are on a power trip, it's impossible to get seen quickly or get a call back for an unrgent condition. Dr Semler is okay, he has said some inappropriate things to me , in my opinion. To quote him during my last visit when I was having a reaction to a shot they gave me, "I'm not saying your stupid but..." Really? That's the way you talk to patients? I will not be returning becuase the office staff will not let me see Dr. Mohney now that I'm uncomfortable going back to "Dr. I can talk down to you"Disgusting, office staff are more concerned with following suggested procedure than caring about the well being of a patient.

I think that Dr. Semler is great! My first appt for consult took 2 months, I was told this was the normal waiting period by all friends/coworkers who recommended me to him as they had same wait to see him. After this I have had no trouble getting in for appts. as scheduled. For my consult, I was appt I was in within 5 minutes and then out. He took time to visit and chat, answers all my questions and he made sure that I was comfortable with the diagnosis. He and his staff are great. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They do have crazy payment w/insurance though. . . must be the economic times. Can't blame them for that!Overall I would recommend this office to EVERYONE. If you live in the Kalamazoo area I would choose him as as the Dr to see.

I called to make an appointment for something that should be seen quickly due to discomfort.. and was told 3 months... REALLY?! I end up going to my PCP to be treated now instead. Who wants a rash for 3 months before it gets treated?
