Maybe I got lucky, or maybe my procedure was just so routine. But this was the easiest surgical procedure I've ever had to endure. Never needed any pain meds. Had no ill effects. Dr. Mcintosh told me what to expect and how to recover. Follow your directions to the letter, and you'll be fine. Be aware the "referred pain" is a weird side effect of some surgeries. Ask him to explain it to you. The human body is really weird. Looking forward to my next surgery. Just kidding.

Dr McIntosh was amazing. He used robotic surgery for my hernia. He completed the surgery at the UnaSource Surgery Center in Troy. What an outstanding, well trained proficient surgery staff. I highly recommend Dr McIntosh and UnaSource.

I am grateful to Dr. Bruce McIntosh and the staff at Beaumont Hospital, Troy, MI, for their excellent work to identify and repair three hernias that caused intermittent pain in my right side for over six months. Dr. McIntosh listened carefully to my concerns, ordered the appropriate tests, performed the required robotic and open surgery to correct the herniated areas, and he kept me informed throughout the process. Well done, Dr. McIntosh and staff. Thank you so much!

I had surgery on 12/28/2020 Dr McIntosh preformed Incarcerated incisional hernia I would highly recommend dr McIntosh very pleased with all aspects from start to finish. Thank all your staff Mike White

Dr. McIntosh performed a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy on me on July 6th of this year. I have to admit I was nervous about the anesthesia, the procedure and the recovery, but I could not have been happier with the results. I had all my questions answered before and after the procedure. After the procedure I had a little cramping but no pain. I was able to walk off the cramping and it was gone in about 24 hours. The hardest part of the whole experience was remembering to take it easy as I felt great. Dr. McIntosh was recommended to me by several different people and I think he was the best choice.

Dr. McIntosh removed my gallbladder (laparoscopic cholecystectomy), due to increasing symptoms from gallstones. Dr. McIntosh was highly professional, informative, thorough and kind. I felt very well cared for. The procedure was done as out-patient, and I was amazed and how much better I felt right away - my symptoms disappeared overnight! I continued to recover from the procedure over the next few days at home and felt good enough to return to my office job only six days after surgery. I would recommend Dr. McIntosh to anyone needing this type of surgery!
