My 31 year old son saw Dr. Henein for a rectal prolapse correction. Even though the procedure last longer than expected, and my son was in so much pain that he spent an extra night at the hospital, Dr. Henein did not even bother to do a discharge visit, nor make sure that certain post-op benchmarks were being met. Three days later my son ended up in the Emergency Room with a perforated colon and abdominal sepsis. Thirty three days later, after stays in 3 more hospitals, multi-system failure including cardiac arrest, kidney failure, need for medically induced coma with ventilator, major wound care and skin grafting, my son was able to go home with months of recovery ahead of him. In addition he now has life-long medical issues that were implemented to save his life. It appalls me to give 1 star.

I love and recommend him totally. He has the best bedside manners and is very amazing! His wife is amazing as well they work together she is great to talk with and any questions she will help answer. Highly recommend!

Dr. Henein butchered my hernia surgery. He is too laid back to be a surgeon. He reassured me I had nothing to worry about, and proceeded to rush through the surgery on a Friday afternoon, causing damage to 2 nerves in the area. Now I'm in constant pain, and have numbness in the area, and can't work! He never took the pain seriously either, after being the one who caused it! Don't get surgery from him. He doesn't care if he ruins a life or not. His nurse practitioner is a pro at lying to people. Find a different surgeon or you will regret it. Don't make the same mistake I did!!

Dr. Henein is very attentive to your needs and listens to your concerns and is just a very caring doctor. There aren’t many of them around. I was very impressed with he and Kathy from my first office visit. Highly recommended.

Dr. Henein gave me surgery to fix an inguinal hernia w/ mesh. I originally wanted it done laparoscopically, because I read that nerve damage is more likely w/ open surgery. He convinced me that open surgery is better because the incision is "smaller." Before the surgery I asked what are the odds of nerve damage were, and I was told I might feel a foreign object for a while, no big deal. Now I have nerve damage, chronic pain, and numbness; exactly what I was afraid of. If it's permanent, my life is ruined! Find someone else.

Had surgery. There where some complications due to one of the hernias being so large. Dr H was very supportive. Had me return to the emergency room. Had me admitted. He called numerous times to check on me. He then came to my room on the Friday before Labor Day and eliminated the nerve pain. Knew exactly what the problem was. He even said call anytime over Labor Day weekend and he would meet me at his office during labor day weekend. While I was not happy about the complications (there was a risk that this could happen), he did not cut and run. He is one on the most supportive docs that I have ever met. I highly recommend him for anyone needing surgery.

Had an office with dr Heinan. He is very knowledgeable and informative. Very down to earth. Explained my condition. Multiple hernias. Have surgery scheduled and will update how my surgery goes.

Cut bowel during surgery and that led to months in ICU. Had to find another doctor who would take the case.

dr Henein has a great bedside manner, He will always take the time to educated you on your illness or medical need. He is very skillful with robotics as well. He is also a Trauma Surgeon. Very Intelligent man with a very good bedside manner. Jim Ryder
