MIchael Williams's Online Review Report Card

My family and myself have been patients at this practice for 22 years. My son recently had to wait for 3 weeks to have the appropriate inhaler script sent to the pharmacy, which I had to call the insurance company myself and find out what I appropriate replacement would be and also go to the office directly in order to have the script sent after the doctor had been alerted for over a week. This is clearly not patient centered care. I shouldn’t need to explain to five separate medical office personnel why my son needs his daily inhaler that he is currently out of. This is definitely a breakdown in communication. I am a single parent that has two jobs. I do not have the free time available that this office requires in order to have your prescriptions filled for some thing that could potentially be life threatening. I should also mention that I have worked in healthcare for the last 14 years so I am clearly aware of what the appropriate protocol and timing would be. My sister is a patient here. Dr. was booked so she saw the P.A. who diagnosed her with a hernia but also wanted an x-ray of her hip due to her having a certain cancer. There is no way this was a hernia as the P.A. stated and I don't have a degree! She could NOT walk, lift right leg, in terrible unbearable pain. Certainly not symptoms of a hernia even though pain was in groin area. X-ray showed hip fracture due to her cancer. I certainly don't want her seeing the P.A. again!!! My sister is a patient here. Dr. Williams is an absolutely fantastic physician. I have been seeing him every 6 months to check my asthma for a year and a half. He is always extremely professional and equally as compassionate. He provides answers to all my questions and if he doesn't know he is honest. He cares deeply about his job and it shows.

Dr Williams went above and beyond to treat my family. I'm really appreciative of his care.

Dr. Williams has no direct way of contacting him. If you email him, expect to wait a minimum of 4-7 business days for a response. One of his secretaries (scheduling/phone) is ridiculously rude! She speaks down to you, and hates her job.

my first time to see him and was surprise that I did not have to come back for six months other dr had to report back all the time so this was just great he has to know what is doing to be a good dr hope to like in the future\

He's been my primary care doctor for years. I trust him completely.

Had appointment on June 30, 2011, lost 14 pounds, doctor and I both concerned about weight loss, not on a diet. Dr checked weight twice to be sure dropped 14 pounds in 3 months. Scheduled tests on July 1, 2011. To get results in two weeks. After 19 days was told by office tests not reviewed by Dr. Williams. Person I spoke to put an urgent message in to Dr. Williams on July 20, 2011 to have him call me. I called on July 25, 2011 since I did not receive a call from the Doctor. The person at the Dr. office took my direct work number and said Dr. will call you. It is now July 28, 2011 and I still have not received a call from Dr. Michael Williams. My insurance was billed, I paid the bill (eventhough I received a bill in the mail requesting payment again!). I have explained to two people at the Dr. office of my concerns that my test have not been reviewed by the Doctor (7/20 and 7/25) and still have not received a call from the Doctor. I would not recommend this Doctor.

Dr. Williams is very thorough and doesn't give you meds unless the blood tests provide a need fo rit.

Never available for emergency appts.Cannot get refills to prescriptions (1-2 weeks is unacceptable.
