List of Rochester Neurological Center's Reviews
This is a poorly run office they do not answer the phones, their equipment malfunctions and I asked many question of Dr Kahn with zero response. Called 3 times with questions no response.
Terrible experience. Doctor pushes hard for the sleep study even when it's not needed. Went in, told him I hit my head a day or two prior and was out of it. Told him I had memory issues, etc. He said I should do a sleep study and set me up for a bunch of test that I ended up not doing. He never checked out my head after I told him I have a history of concussions and just hit my head and why I was there. 3 days later I was in the hospital. The reception was terrible too. They wouldn't call my insurance to see if any of the visits and sleep studies were covered. They wouldn't give me prices, they said that's my responsibility to figure out. I've never had a Dr. office do that before. Everyone is unprofessional. Cancelled all appointments and never went back. I don't recommend this place.
Dr. Daimee was nice to work with, she is thorough with her questions and does a nice job explaining information and next steps. She ordered lots of testing for me, which I was fine with, to get more information about my issues. The tech who performs the EEG is very nice and personable, and does an excellent job explaining the procedure every step of the way. She made me feel very comfortable during the procedure. The front desk ladies always seem irritated with any interaction I’ve had with them. I understand my situation was never straightforward but I was always apologetic and thankful for their help. My issues with this office: -no patient portal, no online bill pay available (you have to call the office and they get irritated that they have to set up the system to take your payment and complain about their system being slow) -I had to cancel a test at the hospital that I had scheduled five weeks in advance because the office did not request prior authorization in time from my insurance company -the dr prescribed medicine for me, but it wasn’t sent to the pharmacy. Had a follow up with the dr, she asked about the prescription, told her it was never sent in, she said she would send it in again. The prescription was not sent in a second time, so I had to call and leave a message to get it sent in. The pharmacy finally received the prescription after that. -After another follow up with the dr, she said she would send in another prescription with information that would satisfy my insurance company. That prescription was never sent in and I’m tired of calling to request it. -Had issues getting them to communicate with my insurance company to get anything approved. I understand dealing with insurance companies is awful, but if my insurance company is so terrible to deal with, then don’t accept it? -Had to have a procedure done at a hospital and the hospital needed information about my previous testing, so they called the office to get it. The office told them they had no records of any of my previous testing. I had to provide my own records to the hospital. Every follow up I’ve had with the dr, I had to tell her what hospital I had the testing done at and she had to log into her own portal for the results, none of the results were in my patient record at their office apparently.
The system tested the sleep cycle all night and it was a great experience
Extremely friendly and considerate staff!
The staff was excellent. I was in and out very fast.
Front desk ladies friendly. Office clean. Doctor at times was hard to understand due to his thick accent and mask. My husbands HFHS Neurologist doctor wanted him to see a 3rd sleep specialists. I called office to confirm he treats complicated TBI cases before scheduling. Was told he does. Drove an hour to get there. Dr walks in and asks how he can help us. After we tell him our situation he says "what do you want me to do?" I said well it says on your website and I was told you were a sleep specialist. He says I can't help you. I was confused, frustrated and irritated for many reasons. Based on his body language and mannerisms he would not be my type of doctor.
I was so very pleased that Dr. Khan and his wonderful staff was able to get me in for a next day visit. I had not experienced that service from another office before. My hand showed symptoms of carpal tunnel and was in so much pain, I couldn't even sleep. The office staff greeted me and took me back right away to get started. Upon completion of my EMG, Dr. Khan assured me that I would feel much better if I follow his prescription . I felt better that night, as I hadn't been able to sleep well for days. I want to thank Dr. Khan and his entire staff for all of their help. I strongly recommend this practice for any neurological issues.
The young ladies at Rochester Neurological Center are professional, friendly and efficient. They are a great front office team. I love this office
This is a very professionally run office. Appointments are usually on time and the staff is knowledgeable and efficient. Dr Khan LISTENS and doesn’t talk over and interrupt; his explanations are thorough yet friendly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
