List of Thanaa Al-Hamad's Reviews
Dr. Al-Hamad is a good Dr. The mediocre rating is due to the lack of timely maintenance to the website, which has an old/erroneous address. Wasted 30 minutes going to wrong location and finding actual office.
She is the best
Dr. T Al-Hamad was amazing! I have seen multiple GI doctors and none of them compare to her! She has great bedside manor and made me feel so comfortable! She explained everything throughly and made sure I understood! Highly recommended!!!
Dr. T Hamad, is amazing, she is very thorough and helps you to not only get to the root of your problem, but will work hard to find a solution. I highly recommend this doctor.
Very bad experience during endoscopy, Dr. Thanna didn’t show up after the procedure, never call for test results, took her office more than 1 month to send the test result to my physician.
I have seen this doctor for routine things in the past. When a serious problem came up, my family agreed we should get another opinion with U of M - well they told me she was doing everything exactly as they would and they said I was in good hands. Currently she is my attending specialist and I couldn't be happier, she is a skilled physician who definitely knows her specialty inside and out.
Excellent doctor,smart ,compassionate,saved my live
Horrible care. Won't help with forms needed, can't get in when you need to, her handwriting so bad every time I got labs they had to call her office. Not taking time to review and know what's going on with patients. Obvious she's trying to just see as many people as she can and giving crappy care. I did not feel she listened or heard me. Worst was I had a urine test that showed an infection and NOBODY bothered to call me for FIVE WEEKS. Buh-bye.
She was given to me through Beaumont when i was hospitalized. She refused to provide more information for me to get for my short term disability approved. And I'm not someone who was looking to get more time off, never ever had to be off work before EVER. I was really sick. She couldnt even remember what I had going on when hospitalized, like which side of my abdomen had been hurting for the past six months. And just today I got a random script in the mail to get another urine test because the last one was abnormal. I had the last urine test FIVE weeks ago and NOBODY from that office ever called me! So I've had a bladder infection for over a month and didn't know it. Maybe she could slow down the office volume and take enough time to read patient charts better when there for followups instead of plowing through and not even knowing what's been going on with a patient. And let's not forget her handwriting is SO bad that lab people have to always call to find out what lab work she wrote because it is illegible! Ridiculous!!!!
Not only is she very approachable, her staff is very pleasant. You will actually get returned phone calls and you are treated with respect. Great bed side manner. Love her!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
