List of Allen L Babcock's Reviews
Great experience meeting Dr. Babcock. He diagnosed my soft tissue injury quickly without a costly MRI. Nice bedside manner. Even gave me a golf tip...head down and swing slowly. I’m grateful to have found him...all on my own. Rebecca McL
I don’t know where these negatives reviews came from. Dr Babcock was great for me. He was excellent at explaining my Xrays and my treatment plan and his main goal is to not perform surgery or medicate. I suspect some may have issue with that which is why they didn’t like his service. Great guy and very seasoned physician.
I saw Dr Babcock and thought he was a great doctor. He was very nice and funny and put me at ease with my symptoms. He takes an approach to limit drugs and hopefully eliminate surgery. Maybe there is the issue. He was not rude to me at all. I would trust him and recommend him to others.
Despite some of the negative comments that I had read, Dr. Babcock was VERY pleasant and congenial. The visit was quick (they have to be these days) but it was thorough and he explained my options succinctly. I opted for a steroid injection and he came right back and deftly delivered the shot. Then came back again to see if it was effectively. I didn't see ANY of the behaviors that got a one-star rating below. He CERTAINLY didn't make me feel like an idiot or that I had done anything wrong.
Explained my diagnosis so I could understand it, and gave me a good plan of action for my treatment. I would recommend him to family and friends.
If you want to be yelled at by a Doctor and made to feel like you've done something wrong (When you're likely going through agony everyday) then this is the guy for you! Seems to have some sort of god complex and treats patients like garbage. Do yourself a favor and find someone with compassion because Babcock doesn't offer anything but abuse.
I don't know where to begin...While waiting for Dr. Babcock I could hear him yelling in another room. Once he entered my room, he questioned me in a degrading manner, and interrupted me every single time i spoke. I was unable to complete a sentence throughout the whole visit, including my history of symptoms. He raised his voice and degraded me when i tried to follow up with him. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life.
Dr. Babcock has treated me for a broken wrist as well as back pain over the last ten years. He has been nothing but thorough and knowledgeable in his treatment, as well as patient and polite. Most recently I visited him in a different office and found the office staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. There was almost no wait and I felt that both Dr. Babcock and his staff cared about me and my well being.
Abusive, wildly inappropriate method of communicating with patients. Angrily interrogates you and repeatedly cuts you off. Loudly records audio notes about patient's Private medical information well within earshot of anyone in his examination rooms. I've dealt with questionable medical personnel in the past but something is seriously wrong here.
I had my left hip replaced by Dr. Babcock 22 years ago . I just had a follow up with a doctor in Florida and he doesn't need to see me for two years.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
