Joshua Vrabec's Online Review Report Card

On the 26 March 22 my husband was admitted to hospital with a suspected bleed on the back of the brain, as he had woken in the morning virtually blind. A CT Scan showed that was not the case, it was very bad cataracts that had seemed to close up overnight. Two years ago we had moved from England to Michigan, with the intention of my husband having cataract surgery fairly soon afterwards-then Covid hit! We both had it more than once and each time surgery was pushed further out. As soon as we were able, we set about looking at reviews for a highly recommended Eye Surgeon. After much deliberation my husband decided to go with Dr Vrabec, one of the best decision’s he has ever made! Dr Vrabec is lovely, explains what he is going too do and answers all questions you may wish to ask. My husband’s operation on both eyes, was a roaring success with his eyesight fully restored, which to him is no less than a Miracle!! All the nurses were absolutely fantastic, with a big shout out to Mellisa!

A positive experience from the first phone contact to the final post cataract surgery appointment. Dr. Vrabec and staff are professional, efficient, and pleasant. They treat you as a person, not just a patient and client. Dr. Vrabec looks you in the eye even when he doesn't have to and gives all the time you need for questions. I highly recommend this practice for any vision related issues you may have.

I had cataract surgeries done by Dr. Vrabec for both eyes in May 2019. He has very advanced equipment and a very nice clinic. He spent adequate time with me before and after surgery. My vision improved dramatically. I would highly recommend him.

We crossed Dr. Vrabec's path by chance twelve years ago. It was the beginning of what we assumed would be a series of perfunctory annual examines, at the Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor. Fast-forwarding ten years with surgeries for cataract removal and glaucoma monitoring, we can only say that Dr. Vrabec's personable attention was the one constant that we came to depend on. His professional talent is such that we chose to drive forty miles when his practice moved to another Kellogg Center.

My visit with Dr Vrabec was a smooth and easy experience. I called and requested a last minute appointment as I thought I may have “pink eye.” He and his team squeezed me in and gave me a proper diagnosis. I was in and out in no time. Dr Vrabec has a great disposition which immediately put me at ease. I would recommend him to all friends and family.

Dr. Vrabec was very patient and understanding with my many questions about having cataract surgery. He not only performed a perfect cataract surgery but two years later, he executed another flawless cataract surgery on my other eye. When my daughter had problems with “floaters” effecting her vision, he helped her after a thorough vision test and answered all her questions. I highly recommend Dr. Vrabec.

Honestly, Dr. Vrabec was my second opinion doctor. He sat with me and explained in great detail, my condition and discussed thoroughly the pros and cons of having surgery. He further explained to me why he recommended that there was no need for surgery and no need to waste my money at this time. His open and honest discussion, put me at great ease and allowed me to make the right decision without concern. I highly recommend Dr. Vrabec and his kind staff, for all your ophthalmology needs.

Dr Vrabec is kind, direct and has an ease that made me confident in his care and recommendations. And, this became even more important when the patient was my mom. The procedure to remove her cataracts was quick and painless, and we were kept informed throughout the entire operation. We were back home in less than a few hours, and her recovery was met with delight to experience colors and to be more comfortable driving. Thank you.
