It's taken me years to find a doctor that actually listens to me like Dr. Hautea. He does a great job WHEN YOU ARE HONEST with him, which you should be anyways, right? I don't understand all the negative reviews. Maybe these patients don't realize that you(patient) have to put in work too(depending on what you're being treated for) and he's not just going to write you a RX for whatever you want, which I think is a big reason for the majority of the negative reviews. Going off my experiences with him over the last 3 years, he continues to be one of the best Doctors I've seen in the last 25 years.

I am not pleased with this doctor. He diagnosed my numbness without doing any further testing. It makes it harder for a patient to have a good relationship with their doctor to trust them. As for lately, (May 21, 2020) , it takes long time to see him for things.

At one point, he diagnosed my numbness as lack of Vitamin B without taking a blood test first to check it. I I did not like that at all. I took a blood test later on & everything was good. It makes it hard for me to trust him when it comes to my health. I feel he does not listen to me. My very first appointment with him, he never asked me what happened to me with my lower back & neck pain. It was about 5 appointments later when he questioned it. In addition to that, when I went to him for my back pain at my first appointment with him, he said, "My back hurts too". That is how my first appointment started out with him. There are more things. I personally think he is not a good doctor for me.
