I have macular degeneration and when I was told I would have to begin getting shots in my eye, I was beyond frightened. The thought of a needle being placed in my eye simply terrified me! I was fortunate enough to have been referred to Dr. Tamer Mahmoud. He took the time to explain everything about the procedure and answered all my endless questions with patience and kindness. While I couldn't believe it, the shot didn't hurt and was over with quickly! I can't thank Dr. Mahmoud enough for being so dedicated and passionate about his profession, for all his kindness and especially for my having the incredible good fortune to have him for my doctor.

My primary retinal doctor is Dr. Wolfe, who is wonderful. Please see my separate positive review on his web page. Along with Dr.Wolfe, Dr. Maumod is an outstanding doctor who has has provided excellent care . Both these doctors oversee a clinical trial that I am currently participating in. In particular, Dr. Maumod has a calming personality that makes you feel comfortable when dealing with difficult situations with your eye sight. He takes time to explain his examinations and thoughts as well answering questions. Overall, both doctors have been fantastic from my initial visit, through 3 surgeries, and now during the clinical trial. In addition, Cat , who schedules the surgeries, had gone above and beyond to help out my family during one of my surgeries. During my clinical trial I have had contacts with Opal, Kendra, Daniel and Chris. All 4 of them have been fantastic. Overall, I continue to be extremely satisfied with ARC, Dr. Maumod and Dr. Wolfe.

IN MY OPINION DR, MAHMOUD IS A GREAT EYE DOCTOR! HE SAVED MY EYE SIGHT! WITHOUT HIM I WOULD BE BLIND IN ONE EYE! I NOW HAVE NEARLY PERFECT VISION IN MY LEFT EYE! THANK YOU DR. MAHMOUD!

Dr. Mahmoud is a miracle worker! He’s a very kind human being who takes his time to make sure that all your questions are answered. The surgery I had with him saved my vision. All of my follow up visits are always done professionally and with the same care. I highly recommend him to anyone.
