Dr. Bauman took care of my mother who had a ruptured diverticula--she's had two surgeries by him. He is very thorough, takes as much time as is needed to explain things and answer questions, and is an extremely polite and kind young man. If you have a bowel problem and want a caring doctor, this is your guy. He is an excellent doctor, I highly recommend him.

Agree with how rude he is, totally treated me as if I was unworthy of his services and I worked for St. Elizabeth for a workman's comp issue, pissed that St. E made him perform surgery in the hospital instead of the Unity Surgical center. Babied by Hagan who I guess helped him "get in". "Short man's syndrome is what I suspect.

I worked for Dr. Bauman for over ten years. I have never known him to be sued and the person making such comments obviously has a gripe and did not like his insurance report. It easy to criticize anonymously and basically quite cowardly. Such people are usually overstating their symptoms and trying to scam the insurance companies. Bettie Young

My daughter had a wrist fx while playing basketball at WLHS. She received excellent care from Dr. Bauman and his staff. Also had a son with a fx and a repeat of fabulous service from Dr. Bauman and staff.

I had to use him thru workers comp. He was eager to help until surgery wasn't successful. He continued to see me and then lied to Workers comp. I recorded our visits due to the treatment I received prior to him. He unfortunately appears to only be in it for the $. He realized the EMG done on me was incomplete and ordered a new one. The new one showed I had cubital tunnel and he then backed out when it went to workers comp even after telling me it was caused by the work I did. Dr. Bauman has made me not trust the medical field. It was really hurtful that he informed workers comp that I had a new job because I told him I lost feeling in my hands when I fed a 6 week old baby. What is crazy is he asked when I had the baby and it had only been 7 months since my surgery!!! I had to tell him it was my cousins and from t5hat he created my new job. Dr. Bauman has no bed side manners and is completely rude most times. I would not choose him.
