I would highly recommend Dr Krause and his colleagues and staff! They are all excellent and professional and knowledgeable of their patients. I had my bariatric surgery on February 27, 2023 and I have no regrets!

My recovery with this surgeon was a nightmare. As soon as I woke up, I was trapped with severe pain while being told every step of the way that it shouldn’t be happening. The meds I was given did not work and instead of adjusting accordingly, I was dismissed. When the pain continued, it was not treated. My experience as an individual with specific needs did not matter. My medical history includes similar procedures with other surgeons who had no trouble treating my pain and allowing me to heal properly. I can not fathom why a medical professional would ignore a patient suffering, especially considering the psychological trauma of being trapped with that kind of pain. Seek another surgeon.

I went to my first visit and really liked him however I’ve been trying for a week to get someone to call me back to schedule a follow up appointment and all I get is a “confidential voice mailbox” and after leaving my info for a week now, no one has called me back. What if this was an emergency? Is this really how he treats his patients? Having doubts.

I had my "Y" bypass on 05/05/2015 and went down from 286 to 176 lb. That i gained some 30 lb. lately is absolutely not Dr. Krause's fault it is all mine. He is a wonderful doctor, caring, responsible and VERY informative, He spent time with me during my returning visits and explained to me all I needed. I had also a Hernia that he fixed a year later (it occurred to me in late 1994) I RECOMMEND HIM and trust him on my life> Thank you Dr. Krause

This man not only changed my life, but most likely saved it. I am 6'0" and was nearly 400 pounds at 51 years old when I met him. Today, seven years later, I am 209 pounds. He told me that the surgery would probably get me to about 250 but it would be up to me to make lifestyle changes that would allow me to lose even more and keep it off. No complications. Outstanding results. Could not be happier. My new life is filled with activity and fullness as a result of his skill and talent.

If you are looking for a great surgeon, you need not look further than Dr. Krause. Not only is he superb technically but he also has a terrific bedside manner.

Dr. Krause gave a great explanation on what to expect with the gastric sleeve and RNY bypass surgery. He actually held what I would consider a mini class on the procedure before he met with individual patients and explained their particular situations.

Most careing professional Dr. He is very kind and I trust him with my life. He did several of my surgerys and has answered any and all my question and concerns. I would recommend him to anyone. His office and staff are so kind and carding as well. Thank for everything!!

I had a gastric sleeve on 1/05/2016. Dr Krause spent quite a bit of time explaining the problems that could arise and what he does to prevent these issues. After surgery, when I had question, he promptly returned my calls and answered all of my questions.

Dr. Krause did a great job with my surgery. No complications. Great follow up. I would highly recommend him. Very courteous and kind. No complaints whatsoever.
