List of MIck J. Perez-Cruet's Reviews
Dr. Perez-Cruet is a very good neurosurgeon. He truly cares about me, as a person and a patient. Dr. Perez-Cruet performed a minimally invasive surgery with an implant and he took care to fully explain the procedure and risks and followed up after the surgery. This is the first time I have been pain free in over 10 years. Highly recommend him as an expert.
I had a very complex case and was in a lot of pain. After consultation, Dr. Mick performed a difficult min. invasive surgery with an implant and i am completely pain free for the first time in over 10 years. Follow-up was efficient and very good. He really knows his stuff! He was recommended to me by another surgeon who felt my case was too complex and needed an expert. Very thankful.
Dr. Perez-Cruet performed my L5 S1 fusion, relief was almost immediate and my recovery was smooth as can be. I was walking over a mile within 2 weeks
ONE INCH INCISION. Microsurgery is the way to go! Home the same day. Disc fragment removed, little bit of bone drilling, leg pain gone same day! If you have neurosurgery, see a neurosurgeon. Orthos are for extremity work, not your spine. Great reputation and bedside manner. Zoom appointments are great, no driving or waiting.
Dr. Perez-Cruet returned my life to me after his surgery repaired a fractured a lumbar and severe stenosis.
Dr Perez-Cruet. Saved my back . With a little surgery. He recommended having a Nervo HF10 back stimulator. After the 6 day trail, I had no pain and have decided to go ahead with the minor surgery to put in the stimulator. After having pain for 5 years, I found Michigan Head and Spine and Dr.Perez-Cruet and Dr.Kevin Lee who saved my back from pain. I sense have told a few friends that have back pain to make a appointment Thank You again Dr P. and Dr L.
Dr Perez-Cruet did my back surgery, including a fusion, in 2014 and I haven't had one ounce of back pain since, after years of back issues. He is an amazing surgeon, with a wonderful bedside manner as well. A true gentleman. He's skilled and knowledgeable, and wrote the book on my procedure. I wouldn't go to anyone else and recommend him highly.
Initially I was quite pleased with dr pc, but that was back when private insurance paid the bills. Theoretically he takes Medicaid, but he "fired" me as a patient because "I'm paying for your care". Really? Lectured for about 5-10 minutes on how he was losing money by helping me. Gee, doc, guess how I feel being broke enough to qualify for Medicaid? Plus waiting for 2-3 hours is very difficult with an ouchy spine. In short ... Excellent surgeon, seems nice enough at first, but you better have really good insurance and lots of patience.
Dr. Prez-Cruet is a wonderful surgeon! He operated on me over 15 years ago. Not only is he very good at what he does but his bedside manners are just as wonderful! Just about 2 years ago, my husband and I, flew to Michigan from SC to get, Dr. Prez-Cruet’s opinion on my husband’s back. Dr. Prez-Cruet gave us professional opinion, for my husband not to have surgery on his back or let anyone take him into surgery. I wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone looking for an honest, professional opinion to Dr. Prez-Cruet.
I was so happy that I went to him. He did my surgery and I woke up and could finally feel my toes. No more back pain and numbness for me.I know he is not really good at bedside manners but he sure is a great surgeon

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
