List of Peter Czako's Reviews
Dr. Czako is an incredibly kind and caring surgeon. His office staff, the surgical team, and the pre and post op teams are also excellent medical professionals. I’m very grateful for Dr. Czako for surgically treating my thyroid condition and for helping me improve my quality of life.
I had a partial thyroidectomy. Top notch doctor! Very impressed with Dr. Czako and his office. He is a genuinely caring, personable professional with a great bedside manner. The wait time to be roomed during my initial appointment was less than five minutes. He took the time to explain to both my husband and I my diagnosis and his recommendations and he answered all our questions. Before surgery began he visited me prior to anesthesia being administered, explained the procedure and asked if I had any questions. He really put me at ease. The healing process was minimal and my scar is practically unnoticeable. His office staff was extremely helpful. His surgerical scheduler explained things thoroughly. I had questions a few days after the surgery and the team member I spoke with on the phone answered my questions. Dr. Czako called me a few days post-op and prefaced the conversation asking how I was doing. He truly cares about his patients. He thoroughly explained the findings and outcome of the procedure and advised the next steps. Very highly recommend Dr. Czako.
I would love to give a good review, but I can’t. Dr. Czako may be a wonderful doctor, but the receptionist at the desk was rude and completely uncompassionate toward me. I’m a patient person, but when someone treats me With disdain, they get called out. I don’t care what the circumstances are, there is never an excuse to be rude to patients who ARE ILL. She has a LOT to learn about humanity and being kind. She is in the wrong profession.
Dr. Czako was very knowledgeable and thorough. He spent quite a bit of time explaining my diagnosis and surgical treatment. Surgery was scheduled in a short amount of time and the surgery went great. His office staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately, I did not get to see Dr. Zacho. I was told I was sent forms to fill out before my arrival, but I have searched every inbox and nothing was ever sent to me. Therefore, the doctor couldn’t see me. Which, I suppose is understandable, however, the receptionist was so belittling and try to make me feel stupid for a question I asked. She was uncompassionate and just plain ugly toward me. Dr. Czacko may be a great doctor, but he needs to fire that receptionist. She is in the wrong profession to be dealing with ill patients. There is absolutely no excuse for treating a human being like that. I will not return, no matter how good Dr. Czacko is.
The best doctor thank you Docter Peter czako for everything thank you it’s not even enough you for you I feel good my recovery was so much faster than what I imagine jan is the best she wall ways there every time I call her thank you so much love this office 🙏🏻❤️
I cannot speak on Dr. Czako as a surgeon. He may very well be a good surgeon. I can, however speak on the fact that his lack of expertise on a highly complicated medical situation nearly cost me my life. Bottom line, If you have a highly complicated medical issue then I advise you to seek a second opinion particularly at a teaching hospital such as University of Michigan. Thankfully my gut instinct told me that his method of deferring my care to a later date was dangerous. After consulting at U of M, they were appalled at Dr. Czako’s Laissez-faire approach to my medical issue and I was scheduled for surgery within 2 weeks of meeting with U of M. Also, he has a typical God-complex like most arrogant surgeons. With that being said, always seek a second opinion when dealing with Beaumont.
Office visit was humiliating. I left the office feeling belittled and wary with a fistful of printouts. Dr Czako aggressively scrawled information on my preprinted info with a red magic marker. This I assume was for my clarity. This appt took under five minutes. It is of no benefit to have seen him and he made it very clear that I wasted his time
I would just like to say Thank you to Dr. Czako. He's very thorough in explaining everything so you understand completely. I was very skeptical about having surgery he made me feel at ease. I'm so glad I chose him for my surgeon. I would highly recommend him. He also recommended me to see a graves disease specialist Dr. Kahana which also is helping me with a recovery plan. My scar is hardly noticeable. Thank you again.
I had a Left Thyroidectomy done by Dr. Czako! What could have been a a more intense surgery turned into a less intense one with a shorter recovery time. I just want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Czako and his team for their professionalism, dedication, determination and skill. I highly recommend Dr. Czako.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
