The facility was without heat today and my mother was freezing for hours, teeth chattering and very upset.Update. My mother said there was no heat again last night, she was freezing. This is unacceptable.

Not an inspiration to health care, they expect a body on the floor, not real patient care. If you want mediocrity, you got it. Management is a joke, no discipline for those who are lazy and don't care. Expect less and that's it...... sad..... very sad. These are people's family.......

These people need to check on the family 16patience to a CNA is not acceptable just to have income it’s not worth the risk an get Mandated for more hours as if your body don’t break down a patient or cna is gone be serious hurt I contact news 5 if double the patient should be double the pay

My husband was transferred to Hoyt from St Mary's Hospital at 5 pm one day. Hoyt knew he was coming and yet were ill prepared for his admission. He did not get his crucial IV antibiotic, nerve pain medication or steroid that day, nor the next day when I picked him up at 11:30 am. They kept saying the meds were coming and did not follow up with St Mary's when they apparently could not figure out the medications. Very little assistance for my husband's basic need as they appeared severely understaffed. When I picked my husband he was unable to even stand to transfer with two of us assisting him, compared to 24 hours previously ambulating with a walker and stand-by assist. Choose rehab carefully as this was a wife's worst nightmare.

Hoyt nursing ain't a very good nursing home. For anyone relatives there employees are very rude and there managers are nasty and rude to I here alot of bad reviews about this nursing home.an they don't take care of nobody loves ones very good either.
