I have been waiting to get med refills for weeks with no reply. I'm becoming disabled again because of this office. I would never recommend.

Dr. Rene very caring with his patients and his office staff is exceptional. I have been to other rheumatologists and he is THE BEST.

After waiting an hour and a half, after arriving 15 mins early for my appointment as asked, I was finally called back. Dr. Rene asked me a series of questions which told me he never looked at my file that my previous rheumatologist sent over. He questioned why I went to a pain clinic 8 years ago! He never did an exam. I was crying i was in so much pain. My hands were incredibly swollen particularly my joints. I have nodules on my fingers. I told him both elbows, both hips and bothering knees really hurt. My joints were red and swollen. He looked at my hands and said it was fibromyalgia and my PCP should be taking care of it. I’ve been diagnosed with severe RA for 13 years. I’ve had 5 opinions because I didn’t want to believe it myself! But I have it. He didn’t believe I did. He sent me home with an order for blood work and to come back in 2 months. This was a first appointment. I saw him for maybe 15 min. He did not do an examination. A few weeks later I got a call from the office. I thought it would be to have me come in since my blood test showed not only do I have RA that I was in a flare up as well! It was not to have me come in earlier. It was to move my appointment out later because the doctor decided to take a vacation. My previous rheumatologist had me in infusions bimonthly. I moved so it was a bit of a drive. That’s why I decided to seek another doctor. I called them today and they got me in for an appointment with in two days. I will not be returning to Dr. Rene. I would not recommend his office.

Saw Dr. Renee 2 years ago because he came so highly recommended. He came in the exam room, asked me why I was there, had one of his associates take x-rays of my hips and knees, asked me where I felt pain, stated I had fibromyalgia and left the exam room. There were no recommendations for any physical therapy or medications prescribed for my pain

Listens to what you have to say. Very friendly. The lady's at the front desk was nice and kept things perfect. Had to wait for a bit to see the doctor.

Unless you are an established patient, don't bother with this snide, non-compassionate doctor who expects your primary care physician to be doing the things a rheumatologist does. I had Dr Trudell in Flint, Mi and she was wonderful!! Too bad she retired. She didn't try to put everything on my PCP. If I had bursitis, she took care of it!!! I called him to help me with painful finger joints ( called Heberden's nodes). He told me he did not want me back for a patient when I did NOTHING wrong. He never did anything to try to help me anyway. His staff and he were in such a hurry I didn't even get the chance to fill out ALL my paperwork!! What a waste of a visit. If you are new and seeking a Rheumatologist, DO NOT GO TO THIS PERSON. I cannot even call him a doctor. And to top this all off, I know procedure as I am a recently retired RN. Please go somewhere else!!! Terrible doctor!

Against my better judgment and looking at the reviews I went to this Dr. His bedside manner isn't the best. I have spent many years in healthcare and I can be sure to share with you that it became very obvious that the only reason this physician still get patients is because his specialty is scarce in the mid Michigan area. Also, I left with more questions than I came in with. He diagnoses off the cuff and has no desire to research or investigate to get to the root of a problem but instead is dismissive. He just affirmed the belief for me that our health system continues to fail its patients. Dr Rene, do better.

Amazing staff, kind, helpful...10 years now and pleased.

I was referred to "Dr" Rene in the 90s. He came into the room, crossed his arms across his chest, leaned against the counter, and smugly told me he didn't have anything to offer me. He didn't come within 3 ft of me during the visit, never touched me or examined me, never asked me a single question about my symptoms or labs. Unbelievable! Today, I'm again being referred to a rheumatologist because I've been diagnosed with RA. Twenty years of unrecognized, unchecked, untreated joint damage! Don't give this guy your money, you won't get anything in return.

Have been to get prescription refill for 2 weeks. 5he are no good.
