List of Meena Ramani's Reviews
Worst experience. It felt rushed and like she didn't know what she was doing. Has dogs running around the office. One of her dogs literally peed on my son's diaper bag
Took my son Elijah and my daughter Eden with Ramani. My husband also had Ramani as his doctor. Great office. My kids got a cold and they were able to get them in both of them in short notice. Always very polite. And my daughter loves the puppy.
0 starsFor starters, I’ve never had an issue with the dog. The dog’s presence always makes me smile. As for everything else? Don’t bring your children here. Take your kid somewhere worth being. They ALWAYS tried to give me a vaccine that my mom did not want me to have from the ages 13-16ish. Not everyone wants a flu shot. They absolutely do not respect decisions of their patients OR patients parents. Every time I walk out of there they hand me an obesity pamphlet. They care about my weight, yeah okay cool, I’m pretty overweight. It makes sense. So I go in one day -sick as it gets. Pale green, eyes dark, blotched, and swollen from the violence of vomiting excessively. I felt and looked like I was hit by someone. I thought I was having an allergic reaction to something. I could barely stand and my boyfriend had to drive me to this appointment. They completely ignored my sickly state and as SOON as she walked in, this blonde lady looked up at me from her laptop with wide eyes. I could’ve sworn she was assessing my then-current state. She asked me about my weight. She gave me two children’s pamphlets on how to eat. She then went over meal planning and what goes in a meal and to only eat half a cup of each portion. Lady I am SICK! I am NOT thinking about FOOD right now. I asked her to stay in subject as nicely as possible. I told her I really don’t have the energy for this conversation right now. She then went on to ask about my ever-deteriorating mental health. Which is great- except, lets stay focused on how I feel physically, shall we? She made me fill out a mental health quiz while I am drooping to the floor wishing to go home at this point. The lights were too bright and she wasn’t helping here at all anyway. After the quiz she asked me to pee in a cup and sent me on my way. She never did address why I was there. It was almost like she never planned to address why I was actually there. The ONLY thing she had interest to focus on was my weight and mental health. I understand these things are direly important, but she failed me that day. Staying task oriented and focused should be her priority as a doctor. Maybe she just needs better training in a better, less toxic environment. 😕I never found out why I was sick that day. I never found out if It was an allergic reaction to something. As a person who has been attending this office for as long as I can remember, don’t bring your children here. I am 20 years old and I am frustrated at myself for not leaving the day they gave me a flu shot after my mother specifically told them no. No means NO in ANY situation. Regardless of the circumstances. This is not my only reason for strongly disliking this “establishment” . There is so much more. Please don’t come here .
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS
So I just wrote a review but I guess google took it down because I do not see it here. However, I just want to thank Heather for being vey nice and attentive to my sons needs. As for whoever the other RUDE lady was, I don't know if she was a receptionist or a medical assistant, because at one point she was at the front desk, then she was in the room with us taking my sons blood pressure and obtaining information regarding his symptoms. But whatever job title she holds, she is a disgrace to the practice and my son has attended Dr. Ramani's office for 14 years and never have I ever felt so disrespected leaving there. My son had extreme earwax build up, this lady did and said the worst things in order to make him feel bad and embarrass him. She even left the room and discussed it even further loudly in the office about his earwax and how she had never seen anything like it ever, in an office with other patients, remind you all, she was no longer in the room with us, so if we could hear her down the hall, if there were any other patients in the office, they could also hear her as well. She even went so far as telling the other nurse who was coming in to get the earwax out that she would be surprised if she was able to get all the earwax out of my sons ear. I was livid, she then came in the room a second time, telling the other nurse, "yeah I told you it was a lot". So that is when I addressed her and told her that she should try being more sensitive to patients, and make so many rude comments to make patients feel bad. Then she got upset with me for confronting about her RUDE, HURTFUL and ABNOXIOUS behavior. Never in all the years, did I ever consider going elsewhere, but I will most DEFINITELY be taking my business elsewhere. My son will not be going back there.
Would give zero stars if I could. I think it's funny how my previous review has been removed. Not only did she give my son a vaccine that I told her no to because I'm severly allergic, my son almost died in her care. She told me to change his formal every 2 days to try to find one that was the right fit. Takes more then 2 days to find that out. Switched drs and the very first appointment he made me wait for 3 hrs and told me your son isnt leaving my office til there is a room at the hospital.bhe had failure to thrive and had lost a good 3 pounds at that point!
My granddaughter needed 3 shots. They were able to give all three shoots. I have been with Dr. RAMANI FOR 40 YEARS!
Very unprofessional, dogs running around in office, forces unsolicited flu vaccinations even after expressing no as a response. I will no longer attend this physicians practice or recommend her to anyone I know or anyone who asks. No respect for patients wishes
Poor service. Rushed our visit because they allowed us to schedule at 3pm. They forgot to run our paper work on there end so after filling out papers we weren’t brought back till 345. Got done with the very nice office staff thinking oh everything will go great to the doctor coming in saying that we are bad parents because the hospital said we were good to go home with the results we had for jaundice. Then followed up with saying our baby was starving when she had two full bottles In the last 3 hours. Then once she finally did everything she told us to get the blanket to treat her followed up by getting a testing.... went to get the blanket. They never sent the order. Once the order was sent 425. They said we had to get the blood test done first so we had to speed across to the other side of town walking in with 10 minutes to spare before they closed....My baby could of gotten sick all because she couldn’t speak clear enough for a new parent to understand what was needed to be done all because she’s worried that “oh it’s almost 5 o clock we have to hurry to get the patients out”Won’t be going back. Don’t go here unless you wanted to be treated like a 3rd class parent.
Dr. Ramani and her nurse practitioner tried to force the flu shot and HPV on my child by showing us clips of dying children and telling us we needed to "fear the Russians" she also told us if we did not get the flu shot she would refuse to give my child antibiotics that she said she would already give her. She had been running a fever, sore throat, and a ear ache... We'd been battling a week and she'd been sent home from school. The next day we were at urgent care and she thankfully was taken care of since her symptoms were worsening. The antibiotics immediately made a difference. Shame on her!!!!! I have told the office what she did and they insisted I still come there. WHAT! She's a fear mongerer, all I wanted was my daughter healthy not a fight over beliefs. Completely bad timing. Don't strong arm this mother.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
