Dr. Wolohan repaired my dad’s broken hip. He had many other severe preconditions and doc came up to the hospital and rehab center almost every day for 2 months to check on my dad. I’ve never met a doctor who does that. We had his number and he encouraged us to call him any time. He’s honest and to the point and so supportive. I can’t say enough about him.

He has been such a help to me, with my wife. He has answered questions regarding her condition, even after she was out of his care as a patient. I wish all Doctors would follow his example, as a professional as well as someone who you can tell truly cares about people.

18 years ago when I was just out of high school, I was hit by a drunk driver. 70 mph, head on, while I was on my bicycle. I flew through the air after the car impacted my lower left leg and snapped the bones in half. I was rushed to St. Marys (by my demand) and Dr. Wolohan personally was my physician. He came flying in at 1 am and started my emergency procedure (though I'm still miffed he wouldn't let me have someone record it so I could see what they did! haha). I am 36 now, and that was half a lifetime ago. I walk, without a limp or any indication that there is a rod through my leg or that I was so severely injured. I just wanted to say thank you. You are the reason I can walk and run today.

This is a first line surgeon in what he does. He listens to your questions, and answers them completely. He does excellent follow-up in and after the surgery. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.
