List of Richard A. Mills's Reviews
I have been in Dr. Mills' care for many years due to benign prostate enlargement. Recently, Dr. Mills also removed kidney and bladder stones. I trust him.
WESOME DOCTOR
Good Dr will recommend
When it came time for second biopsy, I objected. I had no symptoms to want one. He persisted, I have received radiation with a wonderful VERSA HD machine. No signs of cancer which the biopsy showed at Gleason Level 7.
Could not have anyone better then Dr. Mills, I trusted him when he had to remove my kidney stones, did a great job. He did a better job then the last doctor I had to remove my kidney stones.
Dr. Mills removed my kidney stone, and visited me in the Hospital 3 times. He sent me home on day 3 with instructions to go to his office the following Tuesday. I was to see his p a. I saw her nurse, and she removed the stent. Then told me that his p a would be in to talk to me. After waiting for 30 minutes, I finally left. Fast forward two weeks, and I saw my primary care Dr. He tells me that I have a tumor in the same kidney, and gall stones. Dr Mills never mentioned either.
Faith in Dr. Mills care. Saved my life. Continues with great care.
I was seen by Dr Mills for emergency stent placement and can't say enough positive about my experience. Very thorough and compassionate about my condition, surgery and recovery. Highly pleased with my experience and his treatment plan.
went in for a kidney stone, I'm 6 ft. 3in with a long torso, the first procedure was a total failure the scope needed which is a longer scope was out for repair he could not reach the stone put a stent in me sent me home, to make a long story short , he tore my ureter kidney shut down twice. blood infection , 5 nights in hospital. reconstructive surgery at U of M, kidney is now at 33 %. not impressed to say the least..
Dr. mills office staff are terrible at their job. Every time we need an x-ray to check for recurring stones they say we can go anytime and they will call in the order in a moment. Every single time they forget to call in the order and we waste a trip. For our first stone removal Dr. Mills staff failed to mention to him that I had two kidney stones. When I asked him if he got the second also he looked at us confused. I don't know where the communication broke down bc it was listed on the MRI.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
